i can do this with 3 emerald+2 rubies.. but i cant get it with 5 bronze. timing I'm sure. he gets immune to time stop and i die. i TRY and space the stop out, just keep having a lot of time without protection.
you make it look sooo easy!
UPDATE! I downed him with 5 bronze after i made 5 separate macros for Stop Time ( bound them to number pad ) Thx Moo Moo!
I absolutely love you combat text and dam display, may I ask what programs you are using?
Especially the nice feature of total DPS being displayed at the end of combat I believe is a nice touch.

What addons do you use? for Ui... looting etc
I use a bunch of addons! Here's a few:
PitBull3 - All unitframes except raid
Grid (+Clique) - For raid frames and healing with Clique (not for multiboxing).
Dominos - All visible actionbars
Macaroon! - Hidden actionbars (Storage), only multiboxing related keybinds and macros
Classtimer - Target buffs/debuffs and short player buffs
Elkano's Buffbars - Player buffs/debuffs and HoT tracking
Power Auras - Buff/debuff/proc tracking
HitsMode - Improved combat log, also displays DPS after combat

Last night I attempted Eregos as Oculus is the last heroic I have to do to have completed all heroics as a boxer. This was something that I was not ready for. I had attempted many different combinations of the drakes and was very unsuccessful at all of them. Never got him to a phase shift.
Watching this video has given me the inspiration to try again with the Amber drakes, but I do have two questions. What about the whelps? Only until the very end where Eregos goes after one of your other characters (at 2:32 on the video) did I see whelps. In all my attempts it was the whelps that brought about my end.
And it appears that the phase shift resets the timestop duration, is this still the case? I am wondering if this has been 'fixed' in a recent patch or hotfix?

Fight hasn't changed. You can still use 3 time stops in a row and again after planar shift. Remember that you have 5 time stops you can use, just don't use them all at once. If you chain them correctly and your dps is high enough, Eregos won't have a chance to spawn any whelps. Of course there's a chance Eregos spawns whelps right after planar shift before you can get in range, but it's not necessarily game over even if you get 1 group of whelps. If you get Eregos to 2nd planar shift without whelps, you are pretty much guaranteed to get a kill.
It took me whole lot of tries before i killed him for the first time. Nowadays i usually fail only if server lag messes up my dps rotation.
