Just think if it could turn on your computer, log you in, play the game for you and then send you a detailed e-mail about all the cool things "you" did today while you actualy played PS3.Quote:

So you'd only have to send the one keystroke (with KC or AHK) but it would handle it differently based on factors.
You know, I was just saying how open and inviting this community is....hmph.
Technically couldn't you use the "/cast [target=targettarget] Healing Wave" that should have all of your toons heal the member that the mob is beating on.
And we are rather inviting, just whenever anything close to botting comes up we get a bit touchy.
targettarget only works if there is 1 mob and 0 aoe damage being done.Quote:

I have 5 macros on each shaman arranged in a way so they each correspond to a different party member and so I dont waste mana on heavy overhealing.
The macros are arranged based on the party layout on my main (for logic help) and then matched on all sub characters (because party1 changes on each character since party1 is yourself from each perspective)
For example if I press shift+1 that will cause shamans 1-3 to cast a lesser healing wave on shaman 1 (so one self cast and two alt casts) if I press that button again shamans 1,4, and 5 will cast lesser healing wave on shaman 1. This remains true all the way to shaman number 5, where each press of the button(macro) will cause 1 shaman and 2 alts to cast heals on the first shaman. All the cast sequences reset after combat though because after trying it without that I had some severe syncing issues (like sometimes no one would cast a spell lol). This also helps spread out the agro and mana use. Hopefuly that made more sense than if I had just pasted all 25 macros into the message body :) Heals are about the only things I care about for this purpose, shamans all cast their shocks/bolts and most totems in one keystroke since there is little reason currently to stagger them. (non-stacking totems are just bound to different keys so they get alternated evenly)
*edit* by request here are the healing macros from one shaman. The changes between each one is simply the location of the question mark, with the exception of the /castsequence becoming a /cast when the spell would be a self cast (such as shaman 3 will be /cast [target=self] when shift+3 is pressed and so on.
MACRO 10 "Heal 2" INV_Misc_QuestionMark
/castsequence reset=combat [target=pewpewwz] Healing Wave,
END
MACRO 11 "Heal 3" INV_Misc_QuestionMark
/castsequence reset=combat [target=Pewpewws] ,Healing Wave
END
MACRO 12 "Heal 4" INV_Misc_QuestionMark
/castsequence reset=combat [target=Pewwpews] Healing Wave,
END
MACRO 13 "Heal 5" INV_Misc_QuestionMark
/castsequence reset=combat [target=Pewwpewz] ,Healing Wave
END
MACRO 9 "Heal Main" INV_Misc_QuestionMark
/cast [target=Pewpewss] Healing Wave
END
the following are my only current totem macros.
MACRO 7 "Earthbin" INV_Misc_QuestionMark
#show Earthbind totem
/castsequence reset=reset ,Earthbind Totem,,,
END
MACRO 8 "Stoneskin" INV_Misc_QuestionMark
#show Stoneskin Totem
/castsequence reset=combat Stoneskin Totem,,,,
END
what i usually do is hit my stoneclaw totem key which will do 5x stoneclaws then hit these two macros so the stoneclaws get replaced in turn. its a slight waste of mana when I need all 3 but being able to do 5 stoneclaws is more helpful to counter said sacrifice.
*edit2* upon getting some more experience in RFC (ie wiping a lot on 3packs lol) ive decided to change my healing macro to use faster, smaller heals. after all my hp is so low at this level that 1 rank 3 lesser heal is pretty much half my hp but its 2.5s cast. so for now ill be changing all these to rank 2 heals to cut off .5 seconds off the cast but when all 3 go it will still be plenty of healing. I will of course need to change this as I go so its an inconvenience but beats wiping due to slow and mana wasting heals.
Ah, chain heal. Forgot about that since I don't have it yet :)
most of these macros will be altered as I level and get new spells and new ranks of spells. for example I will likely favor chain heal over healing wave instead and use full rank healing waves less often. In addition I will have another keybind that will cast rank 1 lessers in order to proc ancestral fortitude on a target of my choice. I also have the same keys bound on all characters so if I wish for an "aoe" heal i just hit 3 then F1 so all shamans cast highest rank heal on themselves. I dont use this much so I will likely relocate this to a less used key in order to free up the 'home' keys.Quote:

*edit3* still wiping quite a bit on 3packs though, atm its a lvl issue since im 12/13 and the 3packs are 14-15 and im wearing gimp leather lol. But still having fun since I can rez :D
*edit4* dinged 14 and the instance practically became ez-mode. getting better ranks of earth shock and especially LB made this place laughable. Can burn down 3packs easily and the 3pack+minion with a bit of effort and have been able to kill the first boss 3 times in a row now. Even the elementals are not a problem now (even got an add a few times)
I also found (silly me for not noticing) but even if my main dies all the assist macros still work as long as I dont release spirit. so I can click on mobs with my mouse and hit assist macros and keep killing stuff. also the downranking heals worked wonders for this 2-3 2s casts for 80hp beats 2-3 2.5s heals for 130hp so far. Sometimes the sequences get out of sync though so Im not sure what is going on there but it hasnt killed me...much >.>
why do you need a target for aoe damage?
as for having to heal when there is more than one mob.... I drop stoneclaw totems, generally keeps extra mobs off of my guys.
Since all my macros are based off off focus I use:
#showtooltip
/cast [target=focustargettarget, help, nodead, exists] Healing Wave; [target=target, help, nodead, exists] Healing Wave; [target=player] Healing Wave
*I modified Vyndree's shaman healing macro to use focus.*
which for me pretty much covers all bases. as long as my focus has a target, which he always should, all of my toons heal the guy being beaten on, if my focus doesn't have a target then they heal themselves. Also if my focus targets a group member they heal that member. So far it's working beautifully for me, 2 bars from 40 with no issues.
