Boxing Drek for AV Wins

I've never seen 8 healers in AV.

lol.. You probably mean you've never seen 8 healers together..

I would be very surprised if 5 boxers let alone 5 individual players can take down Drek or Vann with all Marshal's up. I have been in full pre-mades that could not do it but than again I am often surprised with that folks can pull off in this game.

Speaking of pre-mades -I'm pretty much the only alliance boxer on my server (bonechewer)... is it possible to do cross-realm pre-mades for Reckoning? A few 5boxer groups could take drek easily

They have changed AV a lot, but this is my thoughts. You get like 5/4ths of a tower for a boss kill. You could get 2-4 towers down. You get honor based on how many of your own towers you still have up. So it seems like you get crappy honor/exp for just 40 man rushing the final boss even if you could do it. You would get more out of the BG if you actually did the objectives. Hmmm, wonder why they made it that way.... And you want to rush to kill the boss without making sure the other stuff doesn't get back capped why? To show off? It can't be to help out, cause in my battlegroup, no one defends stuff (even stuff they try to cap) and it lots of times, it gets taken back. So you end up pushing hard, getting to the end and only burning 1 tower and you have a GY near the end, but that is it. You then have to convince 12 year olds to go back and get stuff and hold it, when they didn't want to do that in the first place. And then you lose. Seems like rushing didn't help a whole hell of a lot. If you took your time, you could get most of their stuff burned and still hold some of yours. So which is it, helping or just showing off?

You alliance win 90% of the av's on reckoning anyway. But you could premade cross server by using vent or a IM app. Just queue at the same time and see if you get the same one. If not, keep trying until you do.

That used to be true, but since AV xp I've noticed a massive change. Horde wins more like 40% now, and even on losses we usually get a few towers down and/or belinda at least. One difference is it's no longer 40 on 20 most games. The other is that people actually try.

This has been my observation playing solo on my lowbie priest. Now if I five box and play defense (just recap over and over, teleport to base, wipe groups, etc.) I'd say horde wins more like 70%. All we need is two boxers, one on defense, one on offense, and I bet horde would win 90% :)

The question was not what yields the best honor but if it was possible. A premade can run AV in 10 minutes consistently if they are decent. The quickest I have done is just under 9 minutes, got the perfection achievement too. We capped all towers, released all Flight masters and controlled both mines without losing one tower or Balinda. If done properly you can get 1500+ every time. The Rampage realm has the X-realms cross faction pre-made it works out nicely if enough people are on.
