Help with Tri-boxing with RAF level 80

the A--->B--->C method of RAF invites will work well for you. Remember that C will be granting levels to B toons. There's no way around that aside from moving a toon you want from A to B (which you can do as long as the accts have the same last name) for the bonus levels. It's wise to grant the gift levels to a lvl 30 toon....the run up to 30 is quicker than 30 to 60 and so you take max benefit from the RAF gifted levels.

Here's an excellent guide from boosting. It didn't get a lot of love when posted, but it's been helpful to me in that it's linked to wowhead quests. They are worth doing b/c they give crazy experience for a minimum of running around. My addtional advice is to have your toons stoned to the major cities/different continents and use "summon friend" to move them quickly. That's helped with the travel time.

Something to clarify: I have a level 80 Pally and a 80 Unholy DK on the same account. I tried each of them separately as the booster just to decide which fit better for me. I wouldn't want to use two boosters at the same time for fear of killing too fast in lower levels and eating up xp .

Either faction can do SFK. On a PvP realm you might run into some level 20's toons but with an 80 you should be fine. When I played on a PvP I dont remember there being much (if any) high level character activity in Silverpine Forest. Its basically the horde territory's version of Westfall. There was a lot more to be concerned with at Scarlet Monestary and getting through Tirisfal Glades, especially near Undercity. My preferred method of travel is to just take my mounted main to the summoning stone at either instance then party the lowbies and summon toon B, toon B then summons toon C... rinse and repeat as necessary. I didn't summon using the stone, I just chose it because the stone is generally in a mob-safe location. I also tried DM this past weekend on another set of toons and although its easy, the levelling was slower and the run back to the entrance got old. SFK just seemed much more compact and easy to develop a method.

You are correct about the crabs. Park the lowbies on the log and kill with the main. Thats all your lows have to do is sit in your proximity and let your main do all the work. Also, the main here doesn't have to be level 80 by any means. I actually did this part for one set with my DK and for another set I used a 58 Druid. They were basically the same output, because Cat form was great in this application. A 1xp per kill difference was all I seen.

Regarding the XP on the beach - it may seem tedious at first, as you'll be getting 6xp per kill at level 1, 9xp at level 2, 12 xp at level 3 and so on (consistently adding 3xp per level). If I had this part to do over again, I'd maybe have the low levels grind in the noobie area to level 3 or 4, then summon the toons to the beach. I felt like that might have reduced the levelling time. Other than that, its been pretty efficient (relative to my normal progression).

I will be starting my Multi-Boxing adventures in a few days time, still trying to work out the final decisions on my part though, what classes and what not. I don't really want to go with the standard 5 shammies or something similar to that as the reason I am going to be doing this is to actually get a few more level 80s (eventually) of classes that I haven't really played before.
But I think I will definitely try out one of the 5-classes multiboxing after this plan, but at the moment I think I am going to stick with something such as:
Death Knight - main
Druid
Shaman
Paladin
(Perhaps Warlock as 5th, probably not though)
Would this be way too complicated to multi-box at later levels do you think?

I'm sure there are many others here that could answer better than I'm able, but here's my multi-class experience: As long as you plan out the synergy of of your Action bar layout... lead attack being on one key, DPS and AOE attack keys, heals and buffs appropriately keyed for all toons, a Panic button for all (Fear, Nuke, etc) then multi-class isn't too bad. I think the hardest part is suppressing your urge to train every new skill thats available. Keeping it simple is key. Also, plan as much out as you can prior to starting. Team compositions, races, summoning strategy, all of that will help you get the most from your 90 days. Prior to starting I rolled some "dummy" toons and placed them in various spots (SW Bank, Silverpine, Auberdine) to serve as RAF summoners to help them travel from point A to B to C and so on. I even went as far as thinking up some naming schemes prior to rolling this RAF set.. I've always sucked at coming up with good names for them.

My first attempt 5 boxing was a team of Pally, Priest, 3x Hunters. I've ran them up to 65, and I think my main has 14 deaths total (remember, I'm on PvE). The next combo I played to 30 then gifted to 58 was Rogue, Druid, Mage, Hunter, Warlock. That one felt so OP it was unreal. I led with the Rogue equipped with a Crossbow and at times I worried that he wouldn't get his dagger skills built up fast enough as he leveled, because hardly anything lived long enough to get more than one hack in. I used the RAF 1-60 Tourguide found here on dual-boxing forums for both sets.

When my 3-4 accounts hit 58 and travel to Outland, would it still be a good idea to boost them through the Outland instances with my main?
Or something I was thinking about is to use granted levels to have another 60 on my main account and then multi-box throughout Outland/Wrath instances. Which of the two options would work better? Is option one even viable when the RAF bonus stops?

No, each toon can grant 1 level for every 2 levels it achieves. That is where the 30 comes from. RAF toon a -> toon B, Toon A is level 1. Toon B is level 60. Now say you level second toon B to 30. That 30 toon can make to A a 15 with no effort on the Toon A's part. Then 1st Toon B can grant 30 levels making Toon A a level 45 without doing a thing but creating that Toon. Soory if it is not clear, but I leveled a friend with 3 of my toons during our RAF. He ended up with 2 60s and I had a 60, 35 or so and a 10~ which was a toon I played when he was not on.

So if I have two 60's on Account B, I could level a fresh level 1 on Account A to 60 instantly?

You can find Youtube videos, I think they take like 3min to grant all the levels :)
