Thank you so much Rob!
I'm looking forward to play Aion and I own 3 KC licenses. It seems (as far as I've read) that keyclone won't just work due to bot protection programs.
Is there anything you/we can do? I don't know but maybe directly speaking to NCsoft explaining them what your software is about or any other way?
Thank you in advance for your always awesome assistance.
Cheers,
Deekhay

Downloaded and started using last night. Very nice job on it. It works a lot smoother, I'd been using 1.8 I think.

What do you mean by 'crap out on some systems' kc?
I am using Windows 7 and after working out that User Access Control has gotten even more evil since Vista and disabling it I could actually save my settings correctly.
I've had about 3 crashes where my screens go a really a funky pink or green and my sound goes all slo-mo and satanic and I'm forced to reboot. No real warning its going to happen I'll just start to spin the camera on my main window or be riding my mount and boom gone.
I couldn't say with any honesty that I think its keyclone, too many factors in my setup have changed with new os, new vid drivers, new ram, new hard drives.
i thought maybe it could be my sound card (i wasn't using its drivers just was using default windows install ones) so I got the creative pci-ex x-fi drivers from creative and have put them on - we'll see if that makes any difference.

by 'crapping out' i mean the program will exit (popping up a debug dialog usually as it goes). i have not heard it doing any more then that
-
just posted a hotfix for the crash bug. hopefully this will resolve any crash issues people were having.
and no, the monkey is still in there... that effort stalled a bit when i came to the list boxes. i just didn't want to make people wait any longer, so i re-coded around the other problem to produce the hotfix. figured it would take less time to do that, and it did.

Hi Rob, just want to say I loaded this up last night and it's really great, pip swap is fine on windows 7 and is really quick. Thanks for keeping up the good work :)
-
PiP swap is still a bit slow for me - even on Windows 7. I was wondering if you use two monitors and if you do what you set your other regions resoultion too? I was wondering if I put them all to 1-1 is that going to break things? Both my LCD's run at 1920x1200.
Right now my main region is at 1-1 my other 4 regions on my 2nd lcd are each set to 920xsomething.
Could this be why my PiP swap is slower? The swap itself isn't that slow its more the window has to reset its size to fit the 1-1 main window.
Let me know if this should be in a new thread.

Hi Slats,
yeah I have 2x 1900x1200. The main screen is on the left and the maximiser resolution is set to 960x600. The other four are on the right and they're 1to1
...don't know what 1to1 means though lol. KC?
I did notice that when I exported my maximiser layout it didn't store the pip key, apart from that it was fine.
edit: specs might me a good idea:
Q9550
8gig ram
SSD for the wow data folder with a sata 3 cable even though everyone I speak to in computer shops says I don't need one I did notice a difference.
Windows 7 RC 7100
GTX 250 OC --<<--going to upgrade this soon as I get another contract >.<
keyclone
carbonite
jamba
screens:
the screen on the left uses the hdmi card output from the video card via a hdmi to dvi cable and the one on the right uses dvi - I'm going to get a proper hdmi cable for the left screen as I'm pretty sure it has a socket for it
-
My specs are incredible similar (except my monitors are the other way around oh my!)
Q9550
8GB RAM
SSD for OS/Programs, SSD for WoW, Normal SATII drive for Data
GTX 280 1GB
Windows 7 7100 RC
Keyclone
Jamba
Carbonite
etc

spooky - it doesn't make sense then as your video card is way better than mine - I guess it might just be your maximiser setup ?
edit: are you overclocking your cpu? mine is running at 3.2 with an fsb of 1600 - I've found this to be the most stable while keeping the stock cooling fan - I could push it to 3.6 but 3.2 is fine. I found the stock 2.8 a little slow.
