Full spread eagle, the dual stand is 28" from center to center of the mounts. It would definitely not do what you are looking for.Quote:

With my pair of AL2216w's in portrait, this leaves 15" of horizontal space maximum, between the two. That ain't much
Hmm. 28" center-center sounds like more than enough room to support 24" widescreens. Think I'll pick up a quad myself. Thanks for the review!Quote:

Don't forget you have to subtract some of the space from what the side monitors are using.Quote:

Well I must say I'm impressed with Amazon's shipping. I ordered them Thursday during my lunch break with 3-5 day shipping, figured with the holiday I'd see them around Friday of this week. I was pleasantly surprised when UPS dropped them off at my door yesterday afternoon (27 hours after I hit 'submit' on the order form!)
It was pretty easy to set up, and I was impressed with the quality. I screwed the monitors on before sliding the arm on the bar, which was probably a mistake as it was really heavy. It worked perfectly for my setup, and I'm 99% sure it's big enough for me to put 2x 24" monitors on the sides. It's probably not tall enough for 4x24", as the 22" on top is mounted about an inch from the very top of the pole.
Some photos over here: New Monitor Stand!
Just received mine today, setup was a breeze. I can't think you all enough for letting me know about this stand. It has made a huge difference.

Just received my HEX Stand...All i can say is wow. the hex stand comes in 3-4 peices the main mast that clamps to my desk (which im still trying to figure out how to do it since i have a very weird glass desk, i may get a new desk), and the 2 Arm units which slide down the main mast and can be positioned in 3 different height settings per arm location. im currently only setting it up for 3 monitors as im waiting for my 3 new monitors to arrive. Very heavy duty build, i original had a triple mount ergotron mount and all i can think of is my money wasted...but anyhow.. Thanks for posting this kadaan!
I just ordered my quad stand, can't wait for the awesomeness that is a cleaner looking desk!
How well do you guys think this would handle a 24" and 22" widescreen? I noticed it says up to 22". Would I still have room to put them in a V sort of?
iI will try and get some pictures posted within the next few days of my Hex setup....
There is a caution i would like to say however..... Originally i was under the impression i would of been able to get at least my 22 in' widescreen with 2 x 19" wide screens to either side...
What i am finding is that with my 22 in the center, and the 19s on either I actually have an overlap....Now this overlap is not all that bad to me, but to some it may be. I have lined up the sides of my monitors to line up so i get a thinner gap between actual screens. I am finding it hard to tilt in my 19s due to the size of wide of my 22" in the center.when i get my 3 new screens i will most likely get all 3 19s instead of another 22" just to make it fit better.
Ill get some pictures posted.
