8 slots for memory on an I7 board. that is VERY unusual.
The i7 boards usually have the memory slots come in groups of 3 ( 3 or 6 ) and people use 1G sticks for 3G or 6G, or 2G sticks for 6G or 12G.
I wonder of the extra two slots are for DD2 memory or something completely off the wall like that and you have to choose DD2 or DD3 memory but not both.
Just wondering why it would have such an odd number of slots for an i7 board.
