Four Words for you, remember them well: Blood Elf Starting Area
You can go from level 1-23 in 3 hrs without doing any of the collection quests, missing a bunch of kill quests as well just because you outlevel them so quickly. My recommendation for anyone rerolling is to do it in the BE area, except the 1-5 thing, you can literally just kill the mobs around you faster than doing the quests sometimes and for the other races alot of quests are cut off from you. I was level 8 before even leaving the starting area and killing Dar'khan is a piece of cake because the Blood Elf Starting Area unlike ANY OTHER Horde area actually gears you out correctly as you level. You leave at 23 with gear that will last you forever, in my case the staves you get last me all the way until 54 where Outland gear replaces them. (Only if I don't farm for illusionary rods in SM)
After leveling 4 RAF groups to 60 (On my fifth) I'm averaging around 1 day 18 hrs total for leveling time, the only instance I actually do full clears on is SM for the AMAZING experience, all the other ones though are just time sinks. I go from BESA to Hillsbrad, knock out the Battle quests (longest levels currently trying to find a better place, possibly go back to Ashenvale) And then I head straight to southern barrens for the Dwarf quests and do the ONLY collection quest there as it enables me to kill stuff while waiting for the npc to respawn to hand in the Tear of the Moon quest. Thousand Needles is right below and takes only a Half Hour to do the Former elite quests and the kill quests. Then its back to Hillsbrad finishing up anything there, then straight to arathi, do the Sigil and kill quests, back to hillsbrad for the Crown of Will then straight to SM. Stay there until the Quest is completed, sometimes one or two more runs just for items. By then I'm level 42 and it starts getting interesting. I've found the Badlands, Tanaris, Feralas, Searing Gorge, Badlands (elite quest), hopping works best. At 51, which you should be if you do the kill quests in all these zones head to Hinterlands, I kid you not, I got 3 levels from doing 10 quests. And since you are now 54 go on up to Felwood, get to about 56, if you make it to winterspring hooah, but you probably won't need much, then head to WPL and do the quests in zone, you'll ding 58, fly to the portal and do the minimal quests for 60. Grats, now park them in an inn and wait for the next patch and level some more.
