Mecurio's Cataclysm Multiboxing Macros

/Use 13 = Top Trinket
/Use 14 = Bottom Trinket

/Use 10 = Gloves



As far as your two step macro goes.
You need a mapped key, with two steps.

On step 1, it sends keybind A
On step 2, it sends keybind B

Have one macro on keybind A, the other on keybind B.
You could go with IS Boxer macros, that wouldn't change anything.

You can test your two step, by putting a chat macro on each key.
/Tell LeadToonName Step 1 works.
Put that on keybind 1.
Do the same on 2, but Step 2 works.

Once the mapped key is working.
Just check the spelling and capitalization of the macros.

I have the macro for cast sequence on my dps 1 key
I have the proc macro on my kep thats after 0 in the dps bar, thathas a keybind too ; and the proc macro was dropped onto that.

When I press 1 the sequence begins, and it works except for the Proc part, it never casts arc missiles, I stayed on the test dummy until I went out of mana and never was any procs casted.

As for Insert, that now works, as I can click Insert key and it toggles message off and on, on my screen.

But I cannot get the proc too trigger.

Lax assisted me further, issue was:

the bottom left pane select "2 Step" (in the FTL DPS Keys map), go to its Advanced settingsand check the box at the bottom that says "Do not load"

I did not have mine checked.
Also

and set the Hotkey for "2 Step" to 1

I didnt realise that on the actual " 2 Step" I need too click it and set it too my hotkey 1 lol


Just need to fix my toggle insert as I have it backwards but works hahaha

This is a really powerful macro, amazing and just what I need for my arc mages.

I'm glad this is still getting some new boxers into a groove where they can be competitive with non-boxers.

As an aside, I'm running a lot of my guys through raids solo ATM and it never ceases to amaze me that I can have above average DPS by just spamming one button.

It allows me to focus on all the mechanics of the fight going on around me. The other DPSers are trying to work through rotations while dealing with all the movement, spreading, contracting, interrupting, defensive cooldown usage, etc. I quickly get a reputation for being a solid DPSer who never screws things up simply becasue the ease of the 2 step.

Well Mercurio it has helped me thats for sure. And I have barely scratched the surface.
Now my mana on my arc mages is unbelieve... Im nowhere near ooming like before.

I plan to try the survival macro in a raid on my main hunter that I raid solo with and see if there is any diference in my dps, it does pretty good dps as it is more the better, damn bow wont drop for me off Valiona or Atramedes week after week after week ARGGG, damn RNG.

Is there a macro and proc 1 for Marksmen ?

I haven't investigated a Marksman rotation yet - Survival works really well, so I'm not overly motivated.

BTW, if you can get Conquest points from arenas every week, the hunter bow/gun there is on par with anything in today's raiding environment.

Why does the surv macro have in proc, black arrow thats not a proc ?

Trying it tonight when we raid and see how the macro pans out.

Also yes I know of the pvp bow, with the amount of alts I have and boxing, and BG weekend spamming of late, I havent had time to even bother to try for conquest pts, but surely this is the week the bow will drop right ? Hasnt been seen not once since we started and thats been sometime... and there is 2 possibilites of obtaining it, Valiona and Atramedes... So tonight Im lucky punk!!! lol... ok wishful thinking.

Small issue with the proc macro on arc mages.

Some encounters in dungeons I need to move in a hurry, and all my dpsers, so when I hit alt + f to get them all to move and follow, the arc mages if 1 or all happen to be on a proc casting arcane missiles they do not move until they have finished the cast, so they either by then have died, or I noticed a little to late that one is out of range and didnt move with the crew and still died.

Whats the way around this ?

Why is this line: Judge/HotR/SotR/HotR/CS ?

Shouldn't it be, assuming AoE: HotR/Judge/HotR/SotR/HotR

Seems you'd want to lead with the AoE of HotR and if it's an AoE situation then HotR is superior to CS, for single targeting same macro but with CS would be superior.

Couple of Q's on this macro, why have you got steady shot for a Surv Hunter and not Cobra Shot ?

Cobra shot refreshes your serpent sting and regens your focus. Steady is used for MM and BM.

And the Proc, Black Arrow isnt a Proc, its a cool down cast, so having that in the proc, does that mean it will auto cast it once it has come off cool down ?

I tried the macro, and noticed far too many Explosive shots are missed which is huge dps loss, only time it casts explosive is via a proc so the non proccing 1's are being missed and is a huge dps loss.

I raid on my main which is a Surv hunter but never use dps macros but would love this 2 step 1 if it can somehow use explosive when its off cd, and of course when it procs and reapply BA off cd and replace steady with Cobra shot.
