From what I've seen on the PTR the amount needed to level has been lowered 200k xp each level. So the lower 60s are affected alot more while 69-70 isn't much of a percentage change.Quote:

I have a follow up question. Is there a good posting that shows the number of people possible in a grp or raid? Mostly for outland-instances, would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, lvl 60 and already in Zangamarsh? Did you skip a lot of hellfire quests? I did most quests 5 boxing, even some collecting quests, and even farmed ramps for a while at lvl 63, and I still ran out of quests in all zones before hitting 70, so now I have to grind mana tombs for the last lvl. You might want to wait for the patch before continuing on much further otherwise you will be instance grinding too :(
I'm not worried about gold. And I am intending to do every quest that is not collection. I'm hoping that all 32 shaman will make level 70 before the expansion is released on November 13th. I will be working on them again once my mages and priests are level 31.9.Quote:

My reason as I've stated quite a number of times is to destroy the Alliance on Aegwynn. That's mostly the reason. The other reason is to do raid encounters but my primary focus is killing more alliance. :)

This is outside of multiboxing. That is, it has nothing to do with multiboxing. This happens on PvP realms. What happens is that a player takes up a quest and completes it, goes back to the quest giver to do the turn in and is unable to do it. Guards around the quest giver will attack either side if a player on either side (horde or alliance) attacks. However if a player on the opposite side is really high up on something like a mushroom in Zangarmarsh and casts fire spells or other spell down on the person trying to do the quest turn in, the player has nothing to do but either:
1. Die from the fire spells and not get the quest turned in.
2. Move away quickly to not die and not get the quest turned in.
3. Attack the caster high up in the mushrooms and die from the guards and not get the quest turned in.
Now take this a step further and instead of 1 player up high in the mushrooms, there are 3 of them that are watching the quest giver. All they're doing is staying up there so that no one can turn in the quest. Let's say the 3 that are high up in the mushrooms decides they are going to stay there all day long. Like 7 hours so that players of the opposite faction cannot turn in quests.
4. Another option once the player has either died or moved is to call in players on your side to fly up to the mushrooms and attack them. This may work or it could be that the 3 call in for more reinforcements like another 4 or 5 level 70's to help them.
That's what happened. Now, I could have rezzed, turned in quest and died. Which I did about 4 or 5 times on some of my shaman. Now I'm talking about the multiboxing side of things here. With 32 shaman, it would have taken me a LONG time. Instead of doing that, I petitioned 32 times because I wanted to know if this was legit or whether or not it was an exploit in the game that should be fixxed. I only started playing on a PvP realm when I started the Shaman about 2 months ago. So sometimes what appears to be not-right sometimes is ok. During the few minutes of waiting for the GM, I just let all 32 shaman die. Since the opposite faction gained no honor from my death (I was level 60 at the time and they were all level 70), I just let them all die while the GMs started answering my petitions. In speaking with the GMs, they seemed to think it was ok. I rezzed a few shaman, then the attackers started attacking on the ground and some of them died to the guards, some didn't, they ran off or blinked away, etc. Some of them attacked from a far distance so that the guards would not detect them, etc. So I just attacked them and killed them all with brute force by this time, but the rez spot was right near by so they kept rezzing and attacking from a distance, etc. I wasn't able to get to all of the GMs messages so I did a mass reply at one time and said "sorry I'm busy now" or something like that. So the GMs never did anything about it and as far as I know the attackers never got any kind of warning or any whispers.
It was only later about now 5 or 6 hours after the 7 hours that I got the visit from the 2 GMs from the picture and explained what had happened. They actually paid more attention to what I had said about the issue with the attack and that it took 7 hours to turn in the quest than the GMs that answered the petition.
So all in all, just something else that will drive me to do my attack on Stormwind and Ironforge. I've not even posted how I'm going to do it. I already know most of the tricks that players do such as players on opposite sides monitoring chat channels, alerting friends to the attack etc. So I've got something special planned that will involve all of my characters, including the level 55 death knights that I'm going to have when the expansion is released. muahahahaha! :)
Real simple way to determine if it's ok or not. If you are in Outlands or Northrend GMs will do nothing about standing on terrain to avoid guards. The theory being that 70s with flying mounts can always remove these players and it is a PVP server. In the old world this is against the TOS.

Yea, 32 shaman on the mushroom would be nice at level 70. Only thing is, I probably won't have enough cash to get 32 flying mounts when I get them all to level 70. I will probably have to wait til about level 75-80 in the Wrath of the Lich King before I can have enough cash to get them all. :)

The GM was wrong, the hunter was right to be annoyed. But he did QQ a fair bit lawl.
If he was killing in town it could be considered zone disruption
is there such a thing as zone disruption? That means killing someone near a mob that needs to be killed for a quest could also be zone disruption...hell, that would mean IQD is offlimits for ganking.
People just need to suck it up and wait it out.
Pssh I'm just stating that zone disruption can get you in trouble, what exactly zone disruption entails I don't know. Most of the time its been killing npcs over and over but it wouldn't take much to turn ganking players trying to turn in quests over and over into zone disruption. And no IQD is not off limits :P
I like killing flight masters in major cities for lols. And camping summoning stones for when a raid is trying to start, or camping the kara front gate so no one of the opposite faction can get in due to interupts.
Hmm, this is interesting. I wonder if it is considered zone disruption if I succeed in taking out Ironforge and Stormwind on a daily basis once I am successful the first time? 1 guard spawns for every Horde when the Horde players are near a named NPC. You usually see some sort of text message for each spawn that is garbled because they are speaking the opposite faction. So the trick is to not have that many Horde around the named NPCs and kill them quickly with a small team, then bring in the larger groups to take out remaining guards. My goal is not to take out the boss of the cities. That requires special set up and usually needs a small group of Warlocks to summon the raid group in so it ends up being a surprise. :)Quote:

It used to be in Orgimmar that Alliance would go to the rooftops over the Inn and pick off players that were pvp flagged. Then they put up some stealthed rogues up there in the game and that changed the thing. It should be that players that do those sorts of things get a surprise on them from time to time. Wouldn't you agree? It seems that a lot of players that don't multibox believe it is cheating or unfair to those that don't. Would you think that it would be unfair for players that attack from points in the game that other players can't get to or can't attack?

Well, my Everquest accounts will be expiring soon. In about 2 weeks, they'll all be expired. I logged in yesterday to see what it was like. After all of the patches, I found a TON of afkers in the rez area. It doesn't look like much play that game any more. But there is another expansion that will bring the level cap to level 85 on October 13th? WTF?
Even still camping in OL is illegal when you attack the guards but they cant reach you. More annoying is that even in darkshire 70s are allowed to pick on the low lvl alliance players downstairs, but they cant be attacked by guards, bloody annoying.

1 Druid able to summon a warlock (RaF) and the warlock able to summon any other via RaF.
Get the druid to 68, fly up to the mushroom, summon the 'lock. Use the warlocks' RaF to summon 1 other, then use the warlock to summon (shards) all the other shamans. Tada, 32 shamans less then level 70 on a mushroom!

Great idea! Thanks for the suggestion, however the only problem is that I have about a month to get my shaman all to level 70 before the expansion hits. I don't want to be left too far behind as I know there will be a mad rush for most everyone to get to max level to try to rule over the rest that play. I'm still working on my alts to level 31.9 right now. Once that's done, it's back to the shaman for the grind to 70. Besides, I probably am not going to be in Zangarmarsh for much longer.
Is there a list some where of all of the non-collecting quests in order for Outland to Shadowmoon Valley? That would awesome for multi-boxxers.
Don't use OL for Old Land lol, it stands for Outlands. Will just cause confusion. But yea, if anyone kills you from a rooftop in darkshire just report them, because that is an action that warrants an account warning/suspension.
As for non-collecting quests, well, in Outlands most quests come from a questing hub, of which there are usually 3 in each zone. Just go from town to town, do all the quests you can then follow the bread crumbs quest (the quest which sends you on to the next towm - so&so from townA needs your help).
But I think I did see a link not 15 mins ago, if I come acrowss it again I'll post it here.
