Zolo Trick - Can't get heals off...

...so, I'm doing Zolo with my 70 prot pally to boost my 4x shamans.

I do not have the Figurine , but I do have a Spyglass which helps a little bit.

Now I tank them down just fine, standing for a good 10 minutes or so, keeping my hp up between SoL and the Spyglass - But, as my hp gets low - I try to get a healing off - No way, even with imp conc aura I can get it off - tried a couple of times, ended up having to LoH and next time hp was low I had to reset by jumping.

Question: I do not have the Spiritual Focus talent, is that a must have for Zolo with no figurine? Ie will that let me get a heal off with 40+ skellies beating on me?

Spiratul focus will help alot, but to be honest, get the trinket.

2 min cooldown, full health from it. cant go wrong with it :P

You can bubble and heal, use health pots. It's much easier with figurine of the colossus but I guess you can do it to a point without.

You're doing pretty much what I do, and I personally have no intention of re-speccing for this - I just learned not to rely on a heal.

My pally is fully prot specced, VERY poorly geared (far, far worse than yours) and doesn't have the trinket (or any passive healing at all, in fact). I do have a couple of trinkets that improve dodge / block, and I alternate those.

I keep him alive by actively balancing seals of light and wisdom and bubbling up to heal when he gets below 1k health. If I get below 3k health and it doesn't look like my bubble's going to be available when I need it, I jump down.

Once I got the balance right, I *always* end up resetting Zolo after 10-15 minutes to prevent him dying, rather than my pally :)

Yeah, My main problem it turns out was that I was sloppy with positioning and attacking, so A) I got hit in the back quite a bit and B) I wasnt using SOL to it's potential -- Think it can do this without respeccing.

But yea, Agree - I want the trinket - to damn hard to get a sh group going these days though.

On silvermoon horde its a mircale u get ANY party at all :P

Spec Spiritual focus in your build.
Use Concentration Aura
The combination of both will ensure you take no spell interruption in heals.

If you can get a mana regen of around 200 -220 then you will have regenerated full mana before healing again

just use lvl 67 - 70 armour and shields (reduced repair costs)

I'd say this is the ideal Zolo spec.

Just pop Devine favor before Holy light and you have a free crit heal every 2 minutes. There's also a reduced cooldown for LoHands.
