5 hunters pets
I first had 2 ravagers for DPS, boar to stun mobs so they stay at distance and to slow people in PVP, flyer for screech and wolf for furious howl. Now that I look at WotLK, I think I would like more tenacity animals. So I get another flyer hoping to stack screech. I have 1 with rank 1 and one with rank 2 and the rank 2 always overwrites rank 1. I have tried turning off autocast. I made sure both had full focus. Nothing helps. WOWWikki says it stacks (http://www.wowwiki.com/Screech) "Note that the different ranks of screech stack with each other which allows the use of two owls utilizing the two highest-ranks of screech respectively for a total of an aoe effect of -310 attack power. " Anyone got any ideas? And if they don't stack, is there anything I can do to maximize buffs and debuffs?
Thanks.

I probably wouldn't worry much about preparing pets for WotLK because when it comes out it will have new cool pets with new abilities. Until you have the chance to try those out in a multi-boxing scenario you won't be able to make a fair decision of what will work or not.
We all can look at what is being released daily from the beta account and have lengthy discussion about how different classes will work and what not. Fact is it is in BETA, things are still changing, in fact the hunter talent "Hunting party" just got nerfed ... DK got a whole wackload of talent changes and so on. Enjoy what you can play with now ;-)

The best illustration of this is after retail beta, then hunters were made and the game came out. Though I am sure that the hunter changes are pretty solid mechanically. Though what beast is in what tree seems odd to me. The high end beast mastery is just a stunning talent, hell the whole tree is insane.
