pvp honor/bonus/updates questions

Hi folks. Could somebody please clear up my confusion on PVP Honor? I have 8804 honor before I started today in AB (bg weekend) and the days is estimated at 3124 and my overall honor is now 10274.

Does the bonus honor received go directly into the overall immediately? Is the daily honor count just based on outcome/kills and still updated nightly?

All of the honor you earn is rewarded and added to your total points directly now.
