Multiboxing is one of the best thing I've done I've done in wow!
So back in February my holy priests' raiding build fell apart and the GM did a rush merge of what was left with a guild some of us weren't really familiar with (some were). This had been my most favorite guild ever, the GM was a very nice guy, patient and level headed. Unfortunately our guild picked up some real "winners" who helped destroy it. The new guild was not my kind of guild so I quickly left.
Right around that time I had seen the wowinsider article about Vyndree and Suvega 2-manning Kara. I had already been a longtime dual boxer using synergy on 2 computers and would have my priest follow my lock around. I looked into keyclone and signed up for some additional trial accounts to test out 5. Performance on my 2 pc's were horrible, lol, but I was hooked.
Exactly one month ago I dinged 70 on my 5 shammies and have been gearing them up through BG's. Thanks to Kicksome's totem of the void video I farmed that x 6 (for my 5 shammies and my wife's shammy :) ).
The other night I cleared my first full instance with just the 5 shammies. Yeah I'm probably overgeared now and a bit higher level for Old Hillsbrad but sadly I've been in groups before that wiped in there. So I rep up from numerous runs, get my heroic keys and get 5x Don Carlos' famous hats. :D Last night I did it again for my wife's rogue, she's been wanting to get KoT rep for the longest time for her drums of panic recipe and did not want to pug. We also went back in on heroic for her Don Carlos' famous hat. I also tried some initial heroic trash at the keep with 4 of the shaman and my wife and we took them out, they definitely hit harder but I was happy we could kill them no problem.
It was a long road from February when I felt like just quitting WoW to now where I'm starting to solo instances but it's been a *fun* long road. Thanks again to all who have made this site possible and the people who have shared their knowledge, I appreciate it.
