Someone is crying about a Glad tag people "one"-shotting their warrior.
Edit: I missread this thread a bit, but its now flaming back and forth. Seems they ignored my post completly and are aiming at the less-informed post and its like one or two people going on about it, Still worth a look at the one or two people crying.

I don't believe this guy is referring to Ellay. He says one elemental shaman, 3 frost mages and one pally. Plus he says the title was from S2, not S3. Either he is highly confused, this wasn't a boxer or there is another great boxer out there we don't know about.
Missed that completely, saw "glad tag" combines with a multiboxer thread. this guy obviously got rolled by a bunch of glad people and is confusing coordination with boxing I guess

Funny, if you really pay attention, the biggest crybabies are the ones who are bad players. GOOD PvPers would see MBers as a challenge, and/or free hks (heh), most of the complainers I just know are the honor whores who ruin matches by screaming and moaning and crying if they have to actually PvP instead of doing the same old tired strats and giving up the second any resistance is run into from the opposing side. You know, the "It's a premade, just hurry up and let them win!" types. A MB team means they have to FIGHT, and we all know most of the kinds of belligerent little asswipes who complain on /General are the ones who HATE to actually fight the other side. That just upsets their precious honor/hour, and they'll be delayed getting their gear, which they don't know how to use, because they never actually get around to doing any PvP. I used to LOVE seeing S3 geared idiots in BGs who had no clue what they were doing, I'd target them and gank them across the map. :)
If you read enough of the idiocy, you'll see the same names and the same tired ideas every time, it's the same guys. Much like reposting what someone said 50 times amuses them, I suspect most of them post their "It's all about the money, maaaan" comments, because it's all just a game to them there. If they're not trying to get racist words through the filters, they're reposting nonsense on MB threads, or demanding Blizzard remove talents and classes they have no talent to beat.You have to take in enough of it so you just snap and see the sheer idiocy of it all, and then you just don't care anymore. Blizzard is the only opinion that matters in the long run, and bickering with them does no good - they'll babble on for pages, as you can see every day.
/General is a text based game to most of the people who post there. It's meaningless noise, and I might not be the only one who's noticed a new approach by the CMs there, that they don't interact with the posters nearly as much as they used to - which is sad.
I also noticed the "They're changing the game mechanics in WotLK to ban MBing" meme popping up more, I'd love to know where that one came from.
Another new meme is that "Latency makes coordinated attacks over vent not as efficient as a MBer", which is laughable, since raids need that level of timing to get through most of the bosses.
And I'm sure they'll have a couple new ways to try and attack it next week, they always do.
Me, I say we ignore them, and respond only to the reasonable ones, and show by example we're a better class of person. Bickering with /General trolls and crybabies won't accomplish anything, except waste your time that you could be playing. :)
I was about to say ^^ there's a lil gnome in there who at first was against it, but after learning a little about it seems mildly interested :) I love these sort of people :) willing to learn and understand rather then mindlessly oppose :)Quote:
