Following in Shadowbane

Well I am a new user to Keyclone but so far I have been able to get everything to work pretty flawlessly as for targeting (thanks to /tar hacks) other people and casting. The biggest problem I ave is following. The only way I have gotten follow to work is by being in a party and having Formation turned on.

The problem with that is, I cant join someone elses group o nboth my chars bc no one fights in Formation (bc if leader moves, everyone moves and would disrupt spells).

So I am curious if anyone knows how I may be able to fix this or if you yourself have found ways to get this to work in SB.

nvm was to hasty

when i did it, i usually ran my own group... as i would typically be running 8 or 10 characters.
at which point, i would just keep formation on

so the question is... why limit yourself to less then 6 characters? accounts are free after all :D

Haha, I thought about it but I really dont want to run around with so many. I hate the guys who are running around now with 8 keyclones at once. Figured All I needed was 1 more char to take them out. I dont wanna own people too badly.

Also I enjoy playing with other people. I guess I could always group lead and have everyone fall out of formation but myself. Thats the most simple way of doing it. Also was gunna try to get away without people knowing I was doing it haha. Not so sure if my computer can handle 6 SB clients.

yea, running around with a fullgroup would be tough for others :P

Have found a slight problem with the following. Cant really do formation either, as once you enter combat, the people in group no longer follow for a period of time.

Im thinking I may be able to get this to work if I can just find a way to get the mouse clicks to work in both clients. I have a set camera that I use on both chars, so they are looking to the same exact location when stacked on top of each other. I just cant find really anything thatll clone the mouseclicks.

I play in full screen mode, so when I am on both chars and have the camera locked (in case I move a little) both screens look the very same.

Anyone know how I can pass mouse clicks (right mouse click) to both clients?

This is the only way I could think of to keyclone in SB.

There has to be a way to get this done as Ive seen others in different nations keycloning 5 or so chars.

i never had to do anything like what you are suggesting while playing SB.
why not just have your own group and keep formation on?

Well when in formation, the other clients will follow, but once I engage in combat, you cant follow in formation for a couple minutes, so if I end up having to chase someone, I can only follow on the one client.

hmph... sounds like they nerfed formations specifically against multi-boxing.

(so how much xp do i get for wiping out a game? :D )
