Problem
Just after i start boxing my FPS goes all weird jumping around from
50-9 fps then wow locks for a split second then i go back to 50fps and
smooth as .
This happens everytime i log all 4 acc. in to box also can happen 3 to
4 times in the first hour then never again till i play next.\
Tho last night it happened every 15-20 mins
Only happens when i box
i run 2.1g core2duo 4g ram 8600gt Geforce (heat isnt a prob since i run 19 C idle and 37 C running 4 wow's at the same time)
i run 3 acc. on me 19" at 800x600 all low setting for graphic and sound turned off
i run me main on 22" at 1680x1050(wide) with some sound and low settings for graphics
it gets quite annoying speically when i have a large group to kill
only started to happen since 1.8h keyclone
any idea whats going on ?

if you aren't using v1.8i... please update. there was a bug with v1.8h (which was only 'out' for 3 days before being replaced) that would increase the load on the system if you were using modifiers.
other then that, i do not know. i have zero problems playing hours on end with very low end equipment (i do get a mouse glitch once in a while.. that is being worked on)
as for your machine staggering, do you have any anti-virus software running while you're playing? you say your 3 are running at 800x600... is that in 1600x1200 screen res? and your main is 1680 x 1050? try reducing the screen res and see if that helps.
also, do you run at low to medium in-game details?

i am running 1.8i and who doesnt have anti virus running i wouldnt feel
safe with me internet connectio other wise :) and all 4 run low
settings, the 3 hunters have no sound have turned it off .
the 3 with me hunters are on a 1440x900 (19" res)can try lower but i didnt have a prob till the last 4 days.
Me main is running 1680x1050 on me 22" which runs at the same res.
ooooo forgot to add i am running in Duel screen on Win XP pro
cause of the diff. in lcd size i cant run in Horizontal made :(
-
i believe xp has issues with dual-view... i'm running in horizontal span
do you have your maxfpsbk and maxfps set? what it is? also.. your fps will change as you move your mouse from one window to another.. changing from maxfpsbk to maxfps and back.

Have all set 8 background 60 forground I dont use mouse follow i just click on the wow i want to control at the time :) is what im use too.
All wow windows are affected by the Fps loss not just the one im controling at the time .
edit *ok got KC to place smaller windows on the right side of horizontal setup.
just about log on and see if i ge the fps loss like i was before.
edit2 *hmmmmm had stickykeys warning come up striaght after fps loss iv
turned it off now but wondering if that was causing the prob will
update when i find out.

Had a look at me system event log it said
Error jraid didnt respond in the timeout period
and
warning an error was detected on device D during a paging operation
thats me Sata drive i have me WoW's running on and looking back further
in the event log i see both numerios times in the last 4 days so i
think this is the problem.
what can i do about it do i need to check disk and repair ?

i had a similar problem and found that my disk was almost full. No room to grow. Check and see if you can get rid of storage and/or programs that might be taking up too much space on your harddrive.

Got a 160 sata with 64gig free so i dont think its that :(
im going to go and buy another 160 and run 2 wow's on that see if that clears the prob up.
tryed chkdsk /f no errors from that turned up so i got no idea other than run 2 wow's on seperate hd's
