new to dual (2) boxing

hi all my name is joe and im new to DB :)
heres my setup and questions

i live with my gf who happens to have a 70 hunter and myself who happens to have 5 70s on my account( i dont have a life lol)
the thing is i would like to lvl at least 1 more 70, another druid, since i lvled all my toons the old and long way of questing and lfg ive grown quite bored over the past year of that and cant seem to get into lvling since its to long, then i happen to come across this thing called DBing
it blew my mind i was like holy crap this would be great for me to lvl my druid(i have a 70 main druid and want a diffrernt speced) wow this would be awsome, i could lvl him in no time, then thought hmm how would i go about doing this exactly, i read the fourms and the beginners stuff and it seems like everything is ment for MB not DB, for me ill be DB only with a 70 as the main.
our home setup is we have our pcs in the livingroom, our desks are right beside each other, ive tried to DB and what i did was log onto her account(when shes not playing)on her pc then log into mine on my pc, i put my toon on follow and use the 70 as the main,im doing the regular quests i would do if i was soloing and yes it goes faster but i dont seem to be lvling all that fast the the first question is, what am i doing wrong? the other thing is, it gets rather annoying to keep rolling myself back and forth between pcs to pick up quest item loot, its rather annoying and frequent, is there a way for my alt to loot while i stay on this pc? like an autoloot or something of that nature?
also i was reading about doing this on 1 pc instead of 2, that seems like a good idea but the last thing i want to do is take hours configuring/learning. but it seems that i might not have a choice lol
so what do u think, 1pc or 2? and why? my pc isnt the greatest a few years old, i can play wow on med-low settings fine /sigh
hmm trying to think if theres anything else....
im completely new to this and seen some fourms that will hopefuly help me configure stuff,but for my sake can u pls list what exactly ill need to do this.

thats about all i can think of atm, tyvm for all the input ahead of time :)

We don't know your Setup.
But if you are possible grind with your 70er Char Instances.
At Dualboxing QuestXP > KillExp (and because of the highChar)

I use 2 Pcs, too.
I use 2 Cable-Keyboards, 2 CableMice and 1 Wireless keyboard with 2 receivers.
So I Can control my Chars allone (because of Whispers, Makro changing,...) and simultan.

My biggest Problem is/was to synergice the two Keyboardsettings.
For example 1-4 is for the main and 5-8 is the clone and 9-´ are the keys with funtions for both chars.
And also the Runningkeys (wasd and the arrwokeys) and my spreadout/Stop follow key....

In this thread, the Pdf is very fine and i think it helps alot.
