/Assist Issue
Hi, I just purchased Keyclone yesterday and I'm running 4 hunters and my dad is playing the priest as a 5th wheel solo. My follow macro seems to work fine but my /assist macro is simply really sketchy...
/assist Niveous
/petattack
Sometimes the hunters will catch up to my main toon and not shoot at all, almost like they didn't receive the command while 2 of the others did. Now, this creates a problem then because if I push the /assist macro again it will make those 2 stop and the other 2 start shooting then. This doesn't happen all the time but maybe 40% of the time and I dont know why, any ideas?
Thanks.
P.S. Also I looked around the forum, but is there anyway to combine a follow and assist macro so I dont have to hit follow after every fight?

/tar Name
/follow
/assist

If you're boxing and you mess something up, having a reset button for your toons is invaluable.
This usually happens in the form of everyone stopping attacking and autofollowing your main.
So as above post mentions, /tar /follow /assist works as a reset button.

I'm pretty sure this is mentioned somewhere on this site but I use the addon, Two Box Toolkit, for my toons. I set all my clones to have the main as a master. There is a function called Sticky Follow which once they are disengaged from combat, they will automatically follow their master. (sometimes it does act a little strange though but for the most part, it's awesome)
Download it here: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...oxToolkit.html
Something to play with at least =P
And for assist, I have my right-mouse click mapped to a assist macro on the clones so when my main gets ready to attack, they assist her. It does have some disadvantages though.
Welcome to the forums and g'luck with your crew!

Niveous,
are you allowing for the time it takes for the server to be updated with the target of your main?
depending on how you are selecting targets there can be intermittent results when assisting. Try leaving at least a second between targeting a mob and telling the clones to assist.
