dps or healing gear?

hi just a quick question for a bit of advice really (i made a post about the prof a couple days ago but thought id say what they are just to clarify incase someone asks or adds more advice)

i have a prot pally - mining/engineer
and 4 ele shamans for pvp/arena (Ench/skin), (Ench/Herb), (Ench/LW), (ench/alch)

was wondering if it would be best to kit one of the ele shammys out with healing gear? i am not going to respec everytime i go to an instance so basically is it better to have them all dps or one healing gear? and which one? one with LW or alch?

I would say it would depend on the situation you're in. Personally, I like having one in full resto (my 5 shammy group is split out into different specs anyways) but that's all a playstyle thing. Really though, if you are running you're own instances anyways, you are bound to have some healing gear drop, just gather some on one guy and keep it around and swap it out if you are in boss fights/instances that give you trouble.

Try both of them out for your play style, I spammed LHW so I knew I wouldn't see much a return from +healing anyways, but because I lacked a proper tank my goal is to kill them before they killed me. I think because you have a pally you might benefit from having a resto shaman with some healing gear. as for which one, aside from the one with alch I can't see any of them getting any nice perks to assist the individual. Make sure you make all the drums with the LW, they are incredibly handy
