Boosting
Hello :)
So did some quests with my 5shamans, "some" anyway, got boosted from my brother one day and omg "ding ding ding" extreamly fast progress, The thing is he is not online all the time or want to boost me, question is, he have his computer almost next to me, is it possible to multibox the 5shamans ( just enter instance and put them on a safe spot" then go to brothers comp, pull all mobs, pew pew kill them, Any one have any experience on doing that ? can blizzard see what is happening and do some sharing accounts crap ? and what is the penalty for it, anyway need some one who have done somthing like that so i know :)
Would be a great boost :)
cheers

Search the forums. There are plenty of post about this. Most lower level instances are 5 man.
-
yes ofc, but 4 of the 5 shamans then do some changing etc so get them synced xp wise
-
They don't monitor it specifically, but if someone reports you including your Brother's account, they'llcheck then, yes. But if you're in an instance doing so they won't bother checking cuz noone's around to report you inside lol; however, I would still be careful as it's still account sharing and blizz does frown upon it. It isn't condoned
-
but how can they possebly prof it ? the shamans are one unit and the high level character is one, they dont move together or anything, so hmm, but well would be a bummer to get couth and get all acc banned or somthing, then i would seriusly cry :)

It certainly is possible, and yes, you can drop them off at safe point, go forward with the powerlevling toon, drag the mobs back, and finish them off near the boostees. I made a small video showing me doing this with my mage in SM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhMTaemC3Jw
As for the account sharing thing, well, it's against the rules so you're kinda on your own on that one. :)

I'm currently boosting my 4/5 shaman through SM at the moment with a Pally, if you're interested I'll put up a video on YouTude. In order to boost all 5 of your Shaman you will need to swap out characters, I usually do it on a per level basis. Once one of my girls dings I swap her for the lowest level character.
An idea of how quickly boosting can level your character(s), I spent 3 1/4 hours last night and went from level 31 to level 33. Though it does make a huge differnet what level you are and the mobs you are killing. I'm running SM Cath and at level 33 I'm getting more XP per mob than I was at level 31.
I'd be surprised if there were not videos on YouTube already.

Gnarley is that a defender of the timbermaw trinket I see on your ui screenshot?? I thought I was the only mage who had one still. I just can't let it go.
-
Heh, no, it's my mount. Your trinket sounds fun tho. :)

well i know how to do it and stuff, only question is do i dare doing it with a account where the first name is different then mine, if i do it, how can blizzard possebly prove that its me and not my brother playing, still a bit scared that i get all accounts banned if i do it so hmm think ill just spamm WTB boost in trade channel :)
