I am using assist macros but its getting to that point where I need to swap main characters.
my characters are
main= anubizx
then bnubis cnubis dnubis enubisx
so for easy focus swaps whats the best way to set this up? I would like it to be as quick and easy as possible with out using extra buttons. I dont want to use a F1-12 buttons to assing the focus so should I put the focus in the follow main macro?

Yep the best way is to assign keys to switch focus. If you don't want to use the function keys, do what I did and use these 6 keys:
[Insert] [Home] [Page Up]
[Delete] [End] [Page Down]
Home is my invite key, the others are the focus keys, which also happen to match the way my monitors are set up. :)

Is there a way to do an all in 1 macro ala a check list to see if x = nodead help?
I use this to set focus:
/focus [target=Bugged, exists, help, nodead];[target=Shamin, exists, help, nodead];[target=Sheamen, exists, help, nodead];[target=Shaemen, exists, help, nodead]
/follow focus
Bugged being my pally then my shammy's. Then on all my toons dmg spells I have them target focus the /assist focus.
I also have another macro so all but the pally focus's on a shammy and they all assist of that one.
Yep this will work fine. I would add [target=Bugged, exists, help] at the end, as this will allow you to use it after a wipe when you're all dead and running back from the GY (that is assuming you had to change focus during the fight and need to see it back to Bugged now that you're dead).Quote:
