Interact with Target Melee running off

Hello everyone,

I have been running ranged teams for quite some time now and I want to start adding in some melee toons in my alt groups. Currently my melee toons are all over the place and run off quite a lot of the time.

Now I know that you can prevent this by adding a movement key on the IWT key but I can't seem to get this to work.

Anyone who runs melee toons can show me how they have set it up?

I tried moving the movement key around a bit but that made no difference.

Currently I have:
Enable click to move -> others in melee
Do auto assist me -> self
IWT -> others in melee
move backward -> others in melee (tried putting it before the IWT but that made no difference)

I am putting it in the wrong place?

So this it what works for me:

I have my attacks being 2 steps.
So in this case every 2.5 seconds it will go to step 2 and sending the down arrow to my tank. In game the down arrow is simply move backward.

Thanks for showing the images, though I don't have my IWT bound to the rotation since I drive from my tank and don't want to spam IWT. Question though, if you send the backward key every 2.5s, doesn't that mean that over the duration of the fight your tank walks backwards, even if just slightly?

I have seen that thread but did not post in it since it was already several months since last post. As far as I can tell I have it exactly as they say in the post but I still have toons running away quite often. Is this just how it is? I was under the impression that people managed to fix the problem completely?

No not really. Keypresses are happening so fast and it's just 1 tick back to stop running around in circles or running off. I think if there was any back movement it would be instantly made up with the next keypress.

In the end if the tank ever does move back, it's nothing that I ever notice. I drive from my healer 90%+ of the time.
