Sunken Temple at 51

Hey all, I’ve read a lot here that we should be doing ST upper circle at level 51, but I seem to be running into the snag of witch doctors hexing my tank and random patrols making aoe seem impossible and almost not worth the trouble. The hexes drop aggro and I have to cleanse and regain aggro and reposition the mobs. And then patrols seem to sneak up everywhere here.

Am I in the correct spot? How are you managing to quickly run the circle for xp runs?

my comp is:

warrior tank
paladin healer
mage x2
warlock

all level 51

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Interrupt the hex or just kite with CoC/frost nova if your tank gets hexed.

Hmmm I wasn’t seeing a cast bar for the hex so maybe it’s something on my end. Thanks!

Strange went in there with 3x mages pala priest with 48 and just farmed the upper circle without deaths and just recently i added the cleansing for the hexes.
Everything in there just felt alot easier with 48 than ZF.

Normally i just pull one pack and bomb it even when the mages pull aggro from time to time i have to bop a caster.

I'd get out of ST and do Maraudon princess runs for a few levels and then head to BRD, Then maybe see what i could do in the mid 50's at Dire Maul. ZF is still good for you too.

i grinded through ST from 50 til 54 in the area with the green Dragons. After the entrance turn left and your in the Sacrifice pit or so.There the mobpacks are nice to bomb, the only worse thing is that they often put one char into sleep, so let your heal stand outside the bombspot. So i only got 2 or 3 times a sleeping heal during this levels.
