3 monitors, 2 gpu

Hey guys

My current rig is as follows:

P5k-e wifi/ap
Q6600 @ 3.37ghz on air
MSI 8800 GT OC
1x HannsG 216DP LCD

Ive just ordered my 2 new displays but Im still to sort out the hardware needed to use all 3 monitors as I have some questions :P

Well as I use a p5k-e sli is out of the question but could I use the 2nd 16x slot for a highend card and still benefit from it or would it be
better just to get a cheap pci-e card?

I have been advised to get a cheap pci card for the 3rd monitor but wouldn't this consign this 3rd screen to purely 2d applications?

Basically I would like to be able to use all 3 screens for WoW, one for my main and the other 2 for 2 alts on each.

I know TH2GO is probably my best option but I would prefer not to go that route right now, mainly due to the cost :D
