Potential specs

So my 5 year old Origin PC had a critical harddrive failure (not angry, 5 years and the only thing i've replaced is the fans) and I'm considering ordering another from the same manufacturer. I have with my current machine run into maxing out the cpu and close on the gpu running 2 boxes. This is one of their basic lower end builds, would it be adequate to run 5 bfa wow boxes at 2/3 of a 4k monitor (I don't play full screen), with 2 of them running decent graphics?

What needs to be better?

The specs listed aren't particularly powerful, but what are/were the specs of the prior machine?

Personally I would look at iBuyPowerPC, they have a mothers day special, double the RAM for free. And the cost is about $300 less for same processor and double the RAM.

The ibuypower is $979 and Origin is $1247 so quite the savings. But I am not up to date on computers so might not be as good a deal as I thought. I was going to ask here about it eventually.

Personally I'd imagine you would be limited quite quickly with the proposed specs.
I'd be looking for at least 16GB RAM (which is near a requirement for 5x WoW these days), Nvidia 1060 6GB (with a preference to even a 1070), and a 4+4 i7.

So, while $140 extra, it is double the SSD space, double RAM, better gfx card, better CPU.
I'd be inclined to spring a bit more myself and get a better CPU again. The 7800x looks nice, but that may be another $127 too far, depending on your budget.

/e I'd probably also spend some on a more beefy cooler for the CPU. I've recently had a 120mm fail and spew water all over the guts of a machine because it couldn't cope with the heat.

Thanks for the input guys. Wow gaming PCs are cheaper than they were five years ago. Have people had good experiences with ibuypower? I had a terrible experience with cyberpowerpc (circa 2009) and then a fantastic one with origin pc.

I can't comment on the build quality of IBP, but we can spend your money if you'd like to stick with Origin. :)
