7.1 targetting change (ground targetted spells)

7.1 brings a small change that will make ground targetted skills pretty easy to use, they allow Modifiers now. [@player] and [@cursor]

Both modifiers make ground targetted spells SKIP the targetting phase and activate on key press. (no mouse click)


first change is that [@player] now casts the spell at self. you can't target other players or NPCs with the @, so you cant do [@DRUID2].

the second one makes the spell cast at where your mouse is (in the gameworld) skipping the targetting reticle phase, IF the location is within range.


this makes self targetting for Enhance shammans with totems and rain extra easy, same with locks . it also makes hunters self flare pretty easily, but still its better to use a proper spread flare macro.
