Chinese?
I got whispered a lot from this person today. I found a chinese translation page for gamers, I hope I made sense to this person. Did they think I was a gold farmer?

After this "chat", I put them on ignore. They kept sending me messages, even though I "thought" I explained that I was american and did not understand them.
This is the website I used for the phrases:

Does anyone know of any others in case it happens again?

First off Asian or Chinese? Asian isn't a language it's a culture like European or American.
-
Dumb moment, give me a break. Sheesh. I kid you not I thought they had two different languages. -.-
-
That thought didn't even cross my mind.

I've had farmers message me throughout my WoW life, they most likely thought you were "one of them" and were just saying hi or asking to work together possibly, or want to know how your doing that so they can too :)

Yeah, there's 2 forms; Traditional Chinese and Mandarin, that I can think of.
Someone whispers me in Chinese? "I only speak English." if they reply once more I shrug 'em off; if they keep replying, helloooooo /ignore, if they spam, y helo thar mr. rightclick>report spam for a full account ignore

Mandarin! That's what I was thinking of... not "Asian" Lmao. Sorry, I only got two hours of sleep last night, I am out of it.

Man, my Chinese is rusty. No, i"m not being sarcastic, I actually learned Chinese back in college. I almost feel like brushing up on my Chineses and finally make that conversation macro for my 3 toons just to screw with other players heads.

It could be:
1. Someone playing another person's account, Chinese and interested in you and doesn't speak English.
2. Someone playing their own account, knows how to speak Chinese and seeing if you are Chinese, gold farming, pling, whatever
3. Someone playing their own account, doesn't know Chinese, only knows a couple of phrases or looking at the same website you are and seeing if you are Chinese, gold farming, pling, whatever
I think it's #3.
Either way, personally, I would've just said, "Sorry, not Chinese" (in English) and moved on.
