Power Auras?
Weak Auras?
Either of those can track buffs/debuffs on party/raid members.
i use Power Auras and take the number and show half of bar mini bar or max bar

Back in the day: I use(d) grid and made it the center icon, with a check mark for stacks. I also think I didn't have it show up until they were at 3 or 4 stacks, and then I'd blow the cooldown for all of them with a jumping macro (so they wouldn't try to cast time cast).
