Do not worry too much though, you'll still be able to get most of the in-game goodies with a virtual ticket.
There are (were) hundreds of tickets for sale on eBay, and it seems to be a growing problem with people just ninja'ing tickets so that they can re-sell them to make a profit. It seems to actually be against the law in California (and probably most other states), so if you'd like you can actually report those listings to help stop this growing problem.
You can also try posting on this site to see if someone is willing to sell you some at face value, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
I have been doing the virtual ticket last few years... i like it better than the long lines.. I was at the first 5 though.
i been doing sicne they started them the us is a bit hard to get to and not got money to i did go to the EU blizzcon thing they did once. as it was just a train ride it was fun so kinda been there am sure blizzcon is not going to be far from it a lot of queing about.
