Jumping in with a fleet of bombers nuking the hell outta a single player is the same as entering a questhub PVP area in World of Warcraft (where the players need to be for dailys, gear etc) with a multiboxed raidgroup.
The Multiboxer (as an individual) leave a mess and ruin the gameplay for people and small groups.
Based on this behaviour (and in some parts killing the economical balance of a server/realm/...) of some multiboxing individuals we're all suffering now again (follow nerf in BG, follow disable in ashran, multiboxing nerf in EVE, what's next?).
I'm still waiting for the day where the follow and IWT Command gets disabled as soon as you're getting PvP flagged. Won't take that long...
Boxing in wow is nothing close to boxing in EVE. The problem isn't multiboxing; the problem is game mechanics. Bombers are seriously OP right now. Bomber fleets that aren't multiboxed do the the same thing with an extremely greater frequency and efficiency. People don't care as much if its a fleet then if its a multiboxer for some reason. we're having this problem since ages and handled it somehow until the boxers with 20+ or even 40+ accounts entered the game and turned specific areas into non-playable zones / graveyards. Out of the sudden follow was removed in battlegrounds (I still don't believe the botting thing) and whoop Ashran = no follow (As Holinka said on twitter: follow will remain disabled in Ashran. And I think thats the same issue on EVE now - you can have more than one ship, but duplicating a keypress on multiple windows to command a fleet on your own and kill single players = no go for the EVE community and devs.
Outside of a few bomber multiboxers I would guess there is not much pvp multiboxing in eve. The only thing you could excel at is gate camping. I guess you can throw in ganking hisec but I wouldn't call that pvp. That is like shooting fish in a barrel. Like Chal said... People don't care when it's a fleet but have instant hatred towards a multiboxer. The bomber game mechanic is op not multiboxing.
