Hey,
I've had the itch to reopen DAoC accounts that I haven't played for years. I've heard conflicting stories about how tolerated boxing is. Some say as long as you adhere to the, "1 action per keystroke" rule it's OK. Others say it's ban-able if it even looks like you're running a boxed group.
Is there anyone here actually still playing it that can confirm either way?
I used to box an 8 man manually and never had an issue with it. That was about 5 years ago however.
I haven't played in forever but I did see a grab bag or something along that lines that stated no multiboxing period ..... I was tempted myself to play again but after seeing that I opted not to
The devs have officially declared "multiboxing" as we know it here to be verboten. Happened shortly after they merged all the servers, IIRC.
