Getting my head around RAF

Hey folks,

I am a long time lurker around the board for many years. I use to 5 box EQ and after moving to WoW, I 3 boxed when I use to play 30+ hours a week. Things have changed over the last couple years (married now, etc) so I consolidated my wow accounts into 2 with character transfers and although I only really play one at a time with friends, I keep both on 6 month recurring subs.

I want to get back into 2 boxing using Isbox ( I use to use keyclone but cant seem to get ahold of anyone to get my "lifetime" account back.) so....I want to get "sets" of characters on each account. 2 mages, 2 druids, etc. My headaches comes from getting my head around the best way to RAF it. I have 3 90s (P, M and Warlock) on account 1 and 5 90s (Rog,War, Druid,DK and Shaman) so boosting wont be an issue but what I want to end up with is full sets on each account so I can 2 box them.

Buying the RAF accounts and game time isnt an issue but I would like to avoid multiple character transfer fees if I can.

I am also trying to do this the most effecient way possible.

account 1 boosts accnt 2 + RAF-A so I am leveling up 2 characters at once then I switch and accnt 2 boost accn1 + RAF-B for another 2 at a time?

I could care less about the RAF accnts when all is said and done, at least for the immediate future. The goal is to get the 90s stacked on my current 2 accnts.


Is there a "cleaner" way to do it? Faster? Am I just brainfarting the whole thing here and missing the forest for the trees?

WoW1 recruits WoW2
WoW2 recruits WoW3

WoW2 and WoW3 are linked for RAF even when you got a highlevel char for boosting logged in on WoW1

You use your highlevel on WoW1 to kick the toons on WoW2 and WoW3 through the instances.
(you can do this until level 80).

2 chars on level 80 = 80 levels can be granted to WoW1 via WoW2 (in case you are missing a class on WoW1)
2 chars on level 80 = 80 levels can be granted to WoW2 via WoW3 (for your pair of classes).

when you got all chars you need fir your pairs on WoW2, just disable WoW3
and play WoW1 + WoW2 as dual-box.
