ISBoxer, Round Robin and Diminishing Returns.

Ok so my 10 man group of level 86 enh shaman kept getting wiped by a single (well geared) shadow priest. Honestly the problems I was having I'm not sure it would have mattered if he had blue pvp gear. Anyways I have frost shock on round robin and this dude kept getting away because he would either:
A. fade (can't cast spells on him for a short duration)
B. use rocket boots after a frost shock would hit
C. Use that doppleganger move (I forget the name)
D. Mass Fear (this was the worst)

With A I would just wait it out while chasing in wolf form. With B there was no way in hell I could catch him, rocket boots are so ridiculous in world pvp. C would give him enough time to lose combat and mount. D.... jesus christ on a pogo stick this one pissed me off. I had dudes all over the map dying in random places to all the aggro from mobs. This was by far the most frustrating part of this ganker. After getting wiped 4 times I got pissed off and logged in my DKs and ganked him for an hour straight. He would get away, but stupidly come back for more. I don't know how people think they can take on 9 Dks and a priest by themselves. O.o

Anyways one thing that I felt was just not happening right was my frost shock root. The person who was next on round robin was usually out of range due to fear, wacky IWT or dazed due to aggro from mobs. I realize these guys are only 86, but I felt almost helpless against this priest. I need to figure out a better way to round robin frost shock so I can guarantee a root. I'm not even sure how to start? It needs to check that it was successful and if not, move on to next shaman to attempt another frost shock. Is that even possible with ISBoxer? Of course I don't want it to spam FS or he will just become immune.

Maybe I shouldn't even bother as when I get Ascendence that SPriest will be toast. Melee from 30yards is so sexy. Thoughts?

With fresh questing gear, 90s were taking out groups of 89s.
In some cases 10x 89, was not as strong as a fresh to 90 toon.

Not sure the issue is necessarily diminishing returns.



Your best bet for the Fear, is going to be a Round-Robin on the Tremor Totem.
Your guys won't be spread out that far, even if the fear is annoying.

You cannot check if something was successful, via a boxing software.
You can try to stack the odds in your favor.
For example put your Shaman in pairs, so even if one is resisted the other might land.
Then round-robin AB > CD > EF > GH > IJ.
Set it up as a ten step mapped key, not a round-robin within target group.
On step one, send your IWT to AB; on step three send it to CD; on step five send it to EF; etc.
On step 2, send your Frost Shock to AB; on step four, send it to CD; on step six send it to EF; etc.
Set it to execute on press or release.
On the even steps, set Do Not Advance for at least 0.2 or 0.3 seconds.

That means, you press the key and two of your guys will IWT to the target.
IWT is off of the GCD, so you'll be able to Frost Shock at any point.
Releasing the key will fire off the Frost Shock; hopefully one of the guys is close enough for it to be in range.
You can really spam the key, with the do not advance you shouldn't accidentally press it twice unless you were spamming multiple presses on purpose.

There's going to be diminishing returns.
Full duration > Half Duration > Quarter Duration...

Since the guy is a spell caster...
Round-Robin the Grounding Totem too.
Consider getting the glyph that reflects the spells back to the caster... with ten guys that's a totem every six seconds (if you were to spread them out, evenly).

If two cast FS, doesn't that half the time of the root?

You'd have to test it, to be sure.

I don't think diminishing returns is going to kick in, if they land at the same time.
But don't really know on that.

If you want, adjust it so that only one casts at a time, instead of two.
So twice as many steps, with only one toon going at a time.

In theory, if the target is slowed enough that you're on them, they're dead.
And you're not going to need to slow them again.

Part of the issue is the level disparity.

If you can level, in an environment without that disparity... once you reach maximum level, they won't have that in their favor.
You can do the dungeon route, but that's going to be five toons at a time.
Possibly the raid route, for an older raid... without the raid experience penalty, trash for a level 85 raid might be decent experience... not really sure on that.
PvP is an option, although you'll run into some who are up to 89, in the 85-89 bracket... but no 90s, until you're 90th too.
