Cannot sync chars, need help

I am aware of the problems other people have had with the same thing. I have read the post about that (Tips: Resolutions,Windowed modes,Text,Swapping Speed). I tried all the tweaks suggested, including the three different window/fullscreen/windowed fullscreen modes. Also tried different fore- and background FPS settings in-game. Nothing worked.

I am not able to sync my characters at all, they de-sync just by running for 2-5 seconds. Using just 2 chars for now till i figure out how to fix this issue; one pc with one monitor.

Here is my configuration file as well. The cursor in the smaller, 2nd char window is visibly slower and usually points to a different place, even after syncing. Also tried to change settings in the CPU section with no success. Noticed that the FPS in different windows is different at first, it takes up to 2 seconds to reach the maximum (after switch). By the way, when i change to the fs windowed mode or the resolution i get the scrambled text stuff.

Really don't know what else to do, or whether i am doing something wrong. Help would be much appreciated.

First, since some of your game windows are smaller than 800x600 you'll need to use Windowed (Fullscreen) as per this post here (which you said you've already read).

Second, that post I just linked also mentions that Diablo III doesn't like resolutions which "are not close to its favorite Aspect Ratios." I see you're using two different aspect ratios in your Window Layout (2.0 and 2.2), both of which are... awkward. If you just enlarge Region 1 to 1600x720 then its aspect ratio will match that of the small ones; however, I'm not quite sure that a 2.2 aspect ratio is a good one. I would suggest to maybe choose a new layout, but that's quite a unique monitor you have in that it only has a max resolution of 1600x900; so, your choices are probably limited.

Third, as a handful of other posts in the ISBoxer D3 forum have mentioned, you can always just go into your Repeater Profile, change the Cursor Positioning Mode to "Scaled to Fit​", and hopefully everything will pretty much be fixed (although this isn't the best solution).

1. I am using Windowed (Fullscreen) mode all the time, save for the times when i actually tried to fix the issue by using the other two.
2. For some reason i failed to understand correctly the aspect ratio stuff last night, probably cuz i was damn tired of battling this issue all day long. Thank you for the explanation, i will look into it and do some tests. Will report my progress here and hopefully i won't need your third point, as it isn't the best solution available:)

I tried different resolutions in d3. Last one i used is 1440x900, which is equal to 1.6 ratio. 2nd client windows is at 480x300 which equals 1.6 ratio as well. Here is the pic of the console:

I think the cursors in both windows are at the same position, or veeeery slightly off, possibly my eyesight plays tricks on me. Anyhow, here is the screenshot:

And yet, as soon as i sync the characters in-game and start to move, they de-sync quite fast(just by running without any sharp turns for a couple of seconds) here are pictures:

Another thing that worries me is the fact, that the cursor reacts visibly slower in the 2nd client window when i move it very fast. Is that normal at all?
Also i tried the "Scaled to Fit" option and it is slightly better, but the problem persists.

I hope i am not missing something stupidly and loosing your time.

Folks on these forums are very helpful but I would think they're less likely to help if they feel that they're taken for granted. The word "please" goes a long way.

Not taking anything for granted, just really need help with a frustrating issue; i am still grateful for people's time invested in my issue. So if someone has any ideas, please do not hesitate to share.

First, don't bump threads when they're clearly still on the first page of this sub-forum -- If people know the answer to the problem then they'll give it. Second, you've been receiving assistance directly from Lax on the ISBoxer forum with this issue over the past few days, and if he can't figure it out, then (unfortunately) it's unlikely that anyone else knows the answer to this unique issue.

Can diablo do the same thing that we do with wow, and just do three stacked windows with little video feeds to each one rather than trying to do some full size and some smaller? It was a lot of work but I absolutely loved this change.
