As I have always loved the druid style healing I have to say that it is OP while leveling.
I am actually specd into resto while leveling in between BG ques. This way I get healing gear from quests.
I actually melee mobs with my spirit gear on. It my not be the optimal way, but I dont die. Yes my dps lacks, but they die in about 4 seconds.
Hey Candlebox, nice playing with you in BGs. I was on my disc priest team. I've since gone back to my ret pally team, but if you want to do some raiding or BGs then let me know. I think I have your RealID already
I tried this for a bit back pre-5.0. I found, like you, that non-elite stuff was pretty much just like every other combo: you have to go full retard not to succeed. On the other hand, some of the harder fights (let alone instances) tended to be a race between killing the thing you're attacking before you run out of mana and die from lack of healing. Definitely a very different playstyle. ;)
Yeah I got your real-id. My 3g card has downs syndrome and is terrible this week. Might be because the russians lost control of their civilian satellites.
I do struggle with mana. Im using invsaheals macro for healing. I wish i didnt have to click on people to heal them though. Be nice just to hover.
I am burned out on this game, but I think I attribute that mostly to the economics and political/Fuckushima issues that are bringing me down.
So I just play when im in a good mood now. I want to raid, but 90 is so far away. I have been left behind in the leveling curve, Far behind.
