1gb vs 2gb
Heya Im going to upgrade my pc getting a new video card.
As of now Ive got a 550ti 2 Gb and I can run without problems 4 wow instances @1080p. I only use 1 monitor.
I wanted now to get a 560ti which performs way better than 550ti,
Yet this card im gonna get has only 1 gb vram.
Will this be a problem? Will it be more laggy at the same setting? Will it be the same?
As I said i have no intention to use more than 1 monitor whatsoever,
Im also not gonna lower the resolution on any of the 4 instances,
And my monitor shows only 1 wow instance at the time (rest are tabbed and I usually check em out with the alt+tab thing)

Download AIDA64 and setup a display so you can monitor your vram usage while playing. If you don't go over 1GB then obviously you'll be ok, but if you do go over, adjust your video settings till you drop below and then decide if you'll be ok playing with those detail settings or not.

I'm not sure if the free version allows for vram monitoring or not, and of course, it still needs to be supported in your graphics card and drivers.
I believe if you download the trial and it gives you the option of vram monitoring, then it should be supported. If vram monitoring is unavailable with the trial, it just puts a [Trial] badge instead of the actual value.
Attachment 632
Assuming that attachment works, it should give you an idea of what is available in Aida64.
