First ever melee team for Me.. soon!

So shammys been fun for long time... re-doing my hunters, some were spread on other realms now, same for locks, so those 2 are being re done on RAF, and finally going to start my melee team x4 both pve and pvp.

Never ever boxed melee before, all i know is you use IWT and beyond that for melee I have no clue Yet.

I'm thinking going 4 DKS, I have a dk and used to play one havent for ages but have the general idea how, just not in a boxing perspective.

So with IWT, example I used the tutorial forgot the link now as ages ago I used, i coped the part where it was explaining to set Alt + J to IWT so the toons could interact with npcs for example, on my shammys... do I use same sort of method for melee, bind something to IWT and hit that key every time I am in pve or on a pvp player to get the melee going for selected person or mob ?

They've prioritized Mastery over Haste.
And are now dual-wielding (Fallen Crusader & Razorice enchants), which if you're not prioritizing Obliterate (arena) is higher straight DPS.
I'm using: http://www.wowhead.com/talent#jbhhZGhorfzRdfzb but am thinking of: http://www.wowhead.com/talent#j0hZGhorfzRdfzfM or a variation between the two.

I also don't Blood Strike anymore, even though the guide shows it.
In the place of Blood Strike, I have Death Coil.
And then there is a toggle, which enables/disables this mapped key.
As Frost Strike is much more damage (for a Frost DK), but the ranged aspect of Death Coil is often very nice to have.

This is based off of Mosg2's DK Manifest.
So I am essentially electronically gluing a popsicle stick across several keybinds.
And then mashing them all together at once, approximately five clicks per second.
And trusting that:
- Frost/Death Rune = Howling Blast
- Unholy Rune = Necrotic Strike
- Runic Power = Frost Strike or Death Coil.
There is no guarantee that the Death Runes, will not fire off as Necrotic Strikes... but Howling Blast is called twice as often as Necrotic Strike.
And Frost Strike is called twice as often as Death Coil.

In addition to that, I have a two-step toggle.
Which enables and disables the Melee IWT mapped key.
So normal spamming results in IWT spam, but this can be turned off.
Which can be useful, say in a tower or on a bunker (top donut rim)... so your toons don't run off anywhere.

If you're going to have melee and non-melee (or a healer) on your team.
Put the melee (or anyone you want to spam IWT), into your Melee Action Target Group.
All five of my Druids (when they're Feral Spec), are in the ATG; in my Pally/DK team, on the DK's are.
Doesn't really matter how many are in the ATG, just that you have melee toons in it, and don't have non-melee toons.

Thank You so much for that info, I am sooo very excited, boxed, mages, shammys, hunters, locks in the past and re-doing some, and priest, but never ever any melee... and oh boy this is Very exciting :)

Just got the hunters to level 80, locks still on 24 or so, hitting them on weekend, though tonight I am going to attempt to get some DK's started just fot a short while and then back to them once the Locks run out of raf so level 80.

Then might make some druids, I have 1, used to be kitty put it too Boomie back in firelands and hated it and never went near it, so Im liking idea of using kitties and DKS for something different.

Great feedback and I will use as a guide when I hit 85 with my DK. Though I am sure I will come back to you for additional questions. Oh by the way, I loved watching you live in AV over the weekend on twitch. Wife thought I was watching some movie :o
