For the last 3-4 days i've been lagging so bad I cannot even keep a team logged in for more than 5 minutes. 10-60 second delay on spell casts. I've been reading the forums about others having similar problems and they think that its a bad handoff to ATT backbone.
Just kind of frustrating.
Anyone else having issues?
At this rate id rather just play SWTOR in a couple days.
Yes, I am definitely in the same boat atm. So far what I've got:
1- ISB cpu settings (60/30 foreground and back) --- Checked
2- msconfig Startup Items un-tick and rebooted --- Checked
3- AVG complete pc virus scan --- Checked
4- Restarted modem multiple times --- Checked
5- WoW graphics & sound settings set to Lowest --- Checked
6- Computer power settings set to "High Performance" --- Checked
7- Air compressed my entire machine for dust and lint etc --- Checked
My fps like a few days ago was pretty consistent around 50-60, no problems at all. Now it sits at 15/9?? Not sure what happened recently but afaik, it supposedly isn't any one of the above.
Mines related to latency and not FPS. Thats not been an issue luckily.
Try buying a WoW tunnel. They aren't particularly expensive and can cut down your lag significantly. It might be a good method until you get your problem sorted out.
its probey be addons jamba is makeing me lag a lot since the patch at times,
a lot of wow addons are not fixxed for the patch
ebony, Want to tell me what module in Jamba you think is making it lag?
