Quintbox plans thwarted! Error 203
Hello I finally built my new setup (q6600, 8800gts) and it's handily capable of running three wow instances at once with two on my other computer. All is well, I have my new keyclone, created three accounts, looking good, but then out of nowhere WHAM, error 203, cannot create new accounts at all. Below is a transcript of my communique with tech support.
Hello, is the entire account creation module down? I am recieving error #203 when I try to create the last two accounts (out of a planned 5) and have numerous steps to fix this error. Error 203 is an error you recieve at the final step of creating an account from a test key, it is not as far as I can tell, related to credit card issues, browser cookies\settings or anything else I can figure out.
Here are the steps I have taken to troubleshoot it
1. Tried clearing cookies\cache completely. Tried using firefox.
2. Verified credit card is working. Tried using a different credit card. Tried using a third.
3. Tried using an entirely different computer (on the same network). Tried mac and pc.
4. Tried remote desktop to another pc off the network (in case of an ip-related freeze on creating acounts). Tried on an additional machine way across the country.
5. Tried all these steps with an entirely new guest pass key. Then another guest pass key from another account. Then another.
6. Renounced my religion, kicked my neighbor's dog, started listening to dimmu bogir and carving "ERROR 203" into my forehead with a plastic fork.
So anyhow I am pretty much at the limit for troubleshooting this problem. I built a new computer on friday and had high hopes of working on my 5 characer project this weekend, obviously I am committed to solving this problem and waiting until billing support comes online monday at noon is basically an admission that my attempts to create an account are being jammed by black government helicopters flying rings of chemtrails around my trailer home. If you have any information about what exactly error 203 is and how in the world I can resolve this error (outside of the ole' wait until monday at noon and forget about all your glorious levelling plans for the weekene) I would be very appreciative. Again obviously I am not the kind of person to wait around for some pie in the sky billing support guy to come and fix all my problems but I can't think of anything else to do. Has anyone else encountered this error? I used two of my existing accounts to test the 5 box setup, but can't use them long term. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
