Auto load Keymaps

I am using Keyclone with the game Vanguard. Is there a way to automatically load a keymap file with this game? I am using the auto-add window by title feature. Once I log into the launcher and the game loads, I have to alt+tab out of the game and right click on the window name and load keymap...

It would be cool if you could associate a keymap file from the auto-add section.

I did try and add a command to launch the game and load the keymap, but I guess, unlike WoW there's no way for me to get from the launcher to the actual game.

Set up a command to launch the game for you and add a keymap to it.

Point it to the .exe not the launcher for vanguard.

VanguardSOH.exe or something like that (Never got the game).

the trick is not using the launcher in the command, but the actual game client. the launchers are usually just auto updaters... run it manually once in a while to keep things up to date... otherwise, launch using the client.

This game's launcher is also the Login. So if you bypass the launcher and run the game client you cannot play, because you are not logged in.

Any other ideas? It's a real chore to load the keymaps on each of the 5 clones manually.

not really... you're basically asking for a unique keymap to be loaded to a mystery window after the only window i know of closes. if you loaded the same keymap everything, that's one thing... but i figure you have different keymaps... and i'm not sure how i'd figure out which keymap to associate with which window

Games like Vanguard have to run on seperate machines so I didn't consider trying to match up keymaps to multiple copies of the game on the same machine. I can understand that wouldn't work out.

For set ups like mine. I would want a default keymap option to load with "auto-add" windows.

Now:

1. I start Keyclone on each computer (x6)
2. Start the Vanguard launcher and enter my Username and Passwords
3. The Launcher runs the game client
4. Keyclone auto-adds the window titled "Vanguard: Saga of Heroes" exact match
5. The character select screen comes up within the game client
6. I alt-tab out and find the window in the keyclone list, right-click on it and Load Keymap...
7. alt-tab back and select the character, and enter the game

So it works great, just x6 times it takes a while.

I am loading the same keymap right now. You have an idea?

if you always load the same keymap after a window is auto-added, i could add an option for a keymap to be attached upon auto-add

i'll put that on the list
