Appologies to the community

I want to make this clear before you read any further, this post does not mean I am going to be active one again. This is something I want to do it does not

As many of you will know there were some altercations a few weeks ago which lead me to leaving this community. At the time I was going through quite a few personal problems and I ended up letting it come out over the internet opposed to going to the gym and beating on a heavy bag like I normally would. I said a few things that I regret and I've talked to some of the members of the community since then which brought a few things to light.

First off I'd like to make a sincere apology to Toned. Saying I overreacted is an understatement and I made a fool of myself. I read your PM's and I really am sorry that I lashed out like that at you and there is no excuse for it.

Second off I'd like to apologize to the community as a whole for being a little prick in regards to removing information for someone else's wrong doing which wasn't even a wrong doing...just a large misunderstanding. Although I still stand behind my statements that what Svper did regarding making the information available again was wrong and abusive, but since it should have never been taken down anyway I guess it doesn't really matter.

Third off I'd like to apologize to everyone who has been active here over the years and have contributed quite a bit to everyone for making you look bad most of all (Ualaa especially).

That poem Selz wrote was directed towards me thinking that my push for gladiator meant more to me than other people. I topped out at 2322 which was not close enough and ended up getting farmed down to around 2200 once again (though we are still pushing tonight). I really didn't appreciate some of the people on this forum but I appreciate those who stuck by me and supported me even while I was being selfish. Those of you who had the guts to message me after the fact and ask for help thank you for showing there are people who actually appreciate things still.

Now that that is out of the way I'd like to comment on a few things said in the past few weeks in regards to me and what happened.

Many people said after i took my information down that I should simply not share it. If that were the case and everyone thought that way then there would be no helpful information at all for others to get better with or get started. There is also a fundamental problem with how the community interacts with one another here which is hard to put your finger on. There are very very few active members and fewer people who go out of their way to help others. As a whole the community has dwindled in comparison to what it was in previous expansions which could explain this but there also seems to be more to it. People are keeping to themselves more and more and in my honest opinion there is a false sense of community which I really hope will change because there are a lot of nice people here.

All and all I just hope that like Selz said to me on skype... that people decide to share much more and stop being so selfish (like i was). It should mean more to help others than to have self gratification but as an American I don't quite see eye to eye but in a sense I agree. Both mean a lot but in a community setting helping others should matter much more than it seems to.

To close, if anyone needs any sort of help please don't feel shy about asking for it (not just me). Reach out, ask questions and show you care.

So when is your next guide going to be?

The community has dwindled because Cataclysm is harder than what most boxers want in terms of difficulty.
I didn't join this community until Wrath but, I was dual-boxing characters in BC without the knowledge that
such multiboxing tools existed. Wrath was a joke in terms of game play, but I thought it was a lot of fun and
many other people did as well. So, here's how I see the timeline broken down:

Vanilla

• Guessing this era existed mostly of hardware boxers and difficult scripting
• Multiboxing is still on the down low

Burning Crusade

• Ellay makes a big name for himself in Arena and multiboxing popularity is on the rise.
• Burning Crusade still proves slightly difficult for multiboxers because of CC and instance/raid mechanics.

Wrath of the Lich King

• Instances and raids are immediate faceroll upon reaching level 80
• AoE damage output shows very large numbers which which is great eye candy
• No CC is needed anywhere except maybe some hardmode raid encounters
  
• Macros which include commas for perfect timing of abilities make everything super easy
  
• Any window licker is able to successfully multibox in this expansion

Cataclysm

• Blizzard reports subscription base falls for the first time
• Major revamp to most mechanics that boxers have become very familiar with
• Instances once again prove to be difficult
• Heroics require some gear and skill
• Boring and tedious breadcrumb quests plague Vanilla/Cataclysm content
• Still slightly early in the expansion -- just wait until Blizzard nerfs everything prior to Deathwing

Blizzard is set to nerf all raid content prior to Firelands starting tomorrow and shiny gear will be easier to
obtain. With that and the new change to the Recruit-a-Friend system I believe we will see an influx of more
people begin to play. Once content becomes easy and faceroll again with 4.2/4.3 gear then more people
will begin to multibox but, because Cataclysm is just a lot of the same old stuff veteran folks have seen over
the last 6, almost 7, years... people begin to fade away and you're left with just forum lurkers. At any given
time there are at least 50 - 100 people on this site 24 hours a day. Of how many those are bots? I don't
have those numbers but after Svpernova recently implemented an amazing system I'm going to guess that
not many of them are bots.

As for who deserves thanks for what they give back to this community is not for anyone to decide. In fact,
I've given more thanks to this community in the last 2 years than I have to Microsoft who has supplied me
with operating systems for the past 17 or so years.

So, you're obviously welcome back in this community because you were never banned and I would say that
the apology was definitely needed if anyone was going to respect you ever again. Whether you return to the
community is obviously your choice but, it's a community which is hard to quit.
