How do you guys deal with the haters?

Last week was a fun week with regards to PvP, did real well, and was usually in the top spots for both HK and Killing blows. Got a nice chunk of Honor. I stayed with the 15+ battlegrounds as I thought that being one of the crowd rather than a large portion of the battlefield would make me less noticeable(I only MB 3 enh shamen). So I was rather stoked that this weekend was AB weekend. On friday it was a few haters but they shut up fast when I actually managed with a healer to defend GM with 4 vs 6 consistently, and always either held the 2 out of the 3 top positions, or at least 3 of 5. Saturday I didn't do any BGs as I was busy with other stuff. Sunday was horrible, wherever I went there haters and they were vocal no matter how well I did.

I'm starting to think that I am not really the personality type that can handle the haters. it just makes me pissed off and log off.

Do you guys just ignore them, or?

If this continues I'll solo PvP for the honor, and try my hand at 3v3s when the next season starts, at least then I won't have to listen to the BS some people come up with.

Ye.ther are like a ton of haters,
if we loose a BG, eventho im on top in BK, capped bases / def. bases in ab.. i still get haters, that say im the reason we lost.. normaly i dont say anything, i just do a " lol " and move on.

If everything is going well it is fun. I have had issues when configuring my interface that have led to me not feeling like I was makihng a contribution so I would /afk out until I resolved my problems. But if you are doing well and working towards the BG goals of capping points, defending or escourting the FC don't worry about it. Most multi-boxers work towards the BG goals vice a huntard just farming HKs at the GY in WSG for instance. When in doubt open up your chat settings and turn off off that channel.

Meh, I just tell them to stfu and let me win.

I like WSG a lot with 1 pala and 4 warriors - sure i'm half the team but I usually hang about mid field farming, meaning I can destroy the EFC as he runs past and stop people from chasing our FC.

Yes, I ignore them. BGs are often full of idiots who pollute the BG chat channel with their stupidity. If they weren't bitching at you for multiboxing, they'd be bitching at everyone else for "sucking" "being bad" "being lolfail" or similar complaints. These are the people who spend 99% of their time typing while they wait on a res, and for some reason they think that it's everyone else's fault that things are not going well.

Just remember: they are stupid. They are clueless, mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging mongoloids with extremely sandy vaginas coupled with, of all things, a superiority complex. They are worth exactly zero seconds of your time. Keep rocking the BGs and remember those guys don't really exist.

I usually bait them into violating the terms of service. Seriously, it does not take mcuh to provoke them to either spam you, curse you out, roll an alt to harass you, or get their friends to harass you.

Once I have enough evidence, I report them. One less hater in the world...of warcraft. They only get 1-3 days though.

I have no idea what BG chat is anymore. IDC if we win or not. I go in to impress myself with getting better. Having fun has been my hobby for more than 2 yrs now. I love it.

No offense.. this is meant to be helpful, when I see haters wherever I am, they are my new focus. Cause I know I can piss them off and they log out... whos still playing?

I know its hard to overcome, when you get pride in the way, but to use some words used far far far too often already, "its just a video game".

Haha, I'll do the same thing. Blizzard claims that enough of those small temp bans will eventually end up as a
permanent ban but, seeing as I don't follow these haters around I have no idea what really happens to them.

a good trick is just to kick them, since ur 5 ppl. u can put a inaktive debuff on them, and if they are out of combat 60sec, they are gone. I do that alot.
