um... yeah... for the "siege" they would need to invent a new type of server... one that could handle EVERY FREAKIN' player on the realm to be in or around one city.

You mean like this? The ONE tournament PTR Server for ALL 3(US/EU/China) COUNTRIES' WoWS? 10 million players, 1 server, did crash occasionally but managed to stay up enough to play for awhile; I'd imagine that was a "test" for their server configs to find something that supports Siege Warfare ;)http://home.comcast.net/~gotnks2/WoW/TournyPTR.jpg
