Hex Boxing dk group with echancement Shammy

So started hex boxing well i needed to bring a char now with the boa itams changes so why not put a 85 on its own accont and get some use out of her

Ok this Plan was well i could do with a bit Exta AoE since HB been nuffed a bit more why not and well might as well take a few exta buffs with me.

well all night setting it up and playing with macros av changed my mind and gone with the same sort of setup as my dk's this still needs work and the char is very poor geared as well am not playing 6k gold on blue pvp set just to change it a week laster in the av weekend so it can be carryed though with the dk's

this is the setup and useing and anyone like to change it got plans for it am all ears.

this setup is the same as the DK spam bar with a few changes

Its very hard to get Lighitng Blot in there i tryed the /stopcasting at the start but it was killing my dps after testing like nuts i get 5 stacks each 10secs so the test one is working kinda well


so anyone got any better to do this i would love to know as lightingblot! does not work.

What does an Enhance Shammy add, that a DK does not?
What are the advantages or the disadvantages?

Hex seems to be a large advantage.
Purge cannot hurt to have as an option.
Tremor, as an extra party-wide trinket vs Fear/Charm/Sleep.

A lot of the buffs are overlapping.
You could glyph Healing Stream, for Fire/Frost/Nature resist, if your healer was not a Paladin.
But Horn of Winter and Icy Talons, are the same as the Str/Agi totem and the Haste totem.

Does Enhance do as much damage as a Frost DK.
I mean once they are geared.

You lose a Death Grip, a Hungering Cold.
The single target is probably pretty good.
Do you have anything like Howling Blast at range?

Curious on your thoughts, as there has to be enough incentive for you to experiment with this.

Been thinking myself about this for a while now. It has more to do with no willing to level another DK (the priest is on that account) and willing to heal with my main priest. So my only option is to spec a shaman enhance. Giving me the opportunity to run 4x dk + ehance or priest 3 dk enhance.

I'm not too sure how macroable it is, but enhance can put out a lot of pressure.

It brings unleashed rage to the team and a fear breaker.
Putting the wolves on any caster might cut you some slack.
Grounding totem offers another caster protection.
Hex is always good to have.
Purge & 5 second ranged interrupt.
Ranged root.

There is a lot of added protection vs casters imo.

The only thing that makes me doubt atm is that my shaman is orc, and the others are blood elves. Never liked the different sizes of toons while boxing.

i do use a paladin but i allways have it set to Faster mount speed or con so yes,

i would not think they hit as much or even close as the dk's can hit peeks of 28750dps on dummnys

Ill keep this post updated more as i gear them and play them more though the weeks
to be fair this is olny the 6th char i can not see it being used much outside of av/ioc/worldpvp
and might even level up a 5th dk but we see how it goes

I may add a hex round robin key for my shaman team. I have been doing some pvp with them at 85 and so far I have ignored hex.

i think hex should be used in place of lightning bolt. for arena, just have it set to arena1, arena2, arena3 etc etc.

this way, you hex their whole team every 10 seconds? yes please..
