This is probably a really noob question, but.. how do i force my fps to go over 60? I know my machine can handle it, but i cant find a control to allow me to do it.

Turn off v-sync afaik.
The vsync is the only thing that will limit your FPS, other than that WoW will run as balls fast as it can. Knowing your machine has power to spare doesn't mean it's capable of creating faster framerates in WoW however...Quote:

My machine for example can run multiple copies of wow without a performance hit, so there is obviously some overhead thats not being used effectively by the game... but I still can't get over 30fps in shattrah... which really pisses me off when loading a 2nd and 3rd client doesn't show a performance LOSS...

When I switch to windowed mode, I'm capped at 30FPS. I believe this is just a property of the video drivers interacting with Windows. To get maximum framerates, you need to play in fullscreen mode with vsync off.
