Unable to mount in AV - 10 boxing

My lowbie shamans finally caught up to my other team and I wanted to run AV for a bit. The other day I queued up and both teams got in. When the gate raised I went out and hit my mount macro and only one team would mount. I even manually clicked on the other team's macro and they refused to mount. I also tried via the command line and it wouldn't work.

Ghost wolf worked but that is not adequate to get across the BG fast enough. Has anyone else had this problem?

Shouldnt it be "NOflyable" ?

Not sure why I had that in there. But I have not had a problem mounting in BGs previously with that macro. Only lately. I will remove that and give it a shot later.

only thing I can think of is either you spelled something wrong or the macro is calling the seahorse first and if you do not have a seahorse, the mount fails and ends.

Not sure if the latter is correct, I will have to look it up as I am curious as well.
you could make a "smart mount macro" from http://www.wowpedia.org/Mount_Macros
or use an addon like GupPet ( i currently use this and am very happy with it).

If you use GupPet, you can either use the included "mount bar" or use the addons macro commands to summon a random mount depending on location. The macro commands are on the GupPet addon cofig screen or on the addon download page here http://www.wowinterface.com/download...56-GupPet.html

do you get any error message in the chat box?
"you can't mount this here" or "you don't have that"

This... as it stands the steeds are only being called if an area is flyable, and BGs aren't.

I removed that and everything works fine now. Feel like a total noob!
