i could have sworn i saw someone with a custom lcd stand that was pvc or metal tube and dual vertical montior array , by chance does anyone have the link or the owner able to make a write up on it . i just purchased 2 monitors and would like to make that type of stand.

To make mine I combined these Ikea legs:

Which cost £1.75 each. Screwed into 250x250mm (10x10") wood bases.
Then bolted these to them:

Works really well, can have a couple of screens on each with no problems. I even drilled holes in the plastic feet on the bottom of them on 2, and attached desk lamps to them to get some nice light going :)
