Random BG queue

Alright I'm finding some frustration with the Random BG queue. I have a solo character on Mannoroth that I like to 3v3 with friends. Now Im still honor grinding and therefore using the random BG queue. The problem Im finding is that it will say 2 mins for queue, but I can stay in that queue for 30 mins and never get the invite.

People told me to drop queue and re-queue, but what I was wondering is: How long should you wait before doing this(dropping)? Is there any advantage to repeatedly dropping and re-queueing repeatedly?

I wouldn't wait in queue for more than 5 minutes.
Probably less than that.

There is a bug, if you're in the queue and leave.
When you re-enter the queue, you're near the top of it.
So people are queuing and dropping, rapidly 3-4 times.
And often getting nearly instant BG's thereafter.

i've found the same issue, and the fix is to drop and requeue a couple times after the 4 minute mark. if you dont get in, just queueu for a bg you like :) often times you'll get in instantly or "on time" for that one
