I did my daily transmute of Living Elements in Uldum and noticed that I got a proc on each toon.
Typically, when I proc I get x15 and x14-16 of something else.
However, each toon proced but got x2-x5 of something else.
Anyone else noticed this?

Same I got x15 airs for normal and proc'd then got x3 fire...

Did my 24 transmutes (5 of them do Truegold), and every single toon got 2-4 of a random element, in addition to the 14-16 of the element for their zone.
Each group of five, usually has one toon proc 10-16 extras of one type between the five toons. 5 x 2 = 10; 5 x 4 = 20; I'd imagine this slightly increases the extra materials, assuming it remains consistent.
WIth the increase in volatile life for making flasks/elixirs I am thinking that the price of life is going to go up. Currently life sells for half the price of air on my server, I normally farm the life while watching tv and have leveled my druid up to 84.5 from 80 this way, so the price of life will not affect me too much, thinking for others, truegold may become the transmute option if the price of life rises.
Truegold has always been the option except for when doing life to X for mats at least on my server...Quote:

On my server the truegold has been going for 200 or less per cd with the transmute earning me 20 to 25 per life until recently and selling much more frequently than the truegold on the ah. Lately I've just been ignoring the transmutes though unless somebody needed something, working a side team and just too lazy to care about some gold.
I have mainly being gathering with my druid, getting the life from herbalism and then transmuting to air, this makes me about 1k or so on 3 alchemists.
If I was not farming it would not be very attractive though. The bonus to this is that I also get a ton of ore and herbs which also sell for around 120 - 180g a stack. So an evening watching tv while herbing / mining on my druid is leveling him plus making about 2.5k in gold. So far have made about 100k, I love the fact that mining and herbalism also gives XP :D
This is a good change, imo. I went literally weeks without a single xmute proc early on. Talk about annoyed.
Find someone on your server who makes their gold from the Darkmoon Faire decks.
I've found two people who are sending me bulk Volatile Life; they have said they get a massive amount of Life through making the cards for the decks.
The guy who charges me 8g per Volatile Life (1600g/stack), sends me six stacks of 200 every other day.
Through transmutes, I only want 435/day, but at 8g per I can sell the excess for a small profit.
The other guy is extremely sporadic, in very large quantities and at a great price (5g per Life).
So far he's sold to me twice; 28k and 40k in Volatile Life.
Volatile Air is going for 20-22g or so, as singles.
And 220-240g per stack of 10.
And 2500g per stack of 100.
I'm selling all three sizes regularly.
Anyone know or have a guess at what the lev requirement might be for epic gem transmutes? Doesn't seem to be any info on them yet so 6mnths away ?
I've leveled up 3 teams to 75 and doing the air transmutes. As ppl have said it's not a brilliant money spinner but it is quick.
I'm basically wondering if I should level the 75s more if it may be required? But then bliz usually gives enough notice/weeks for me to do it later. 68 used to be requirement for the quest in wotlk...
Still leveling up a few more teams with rested. One has to wonder if the is any point with the current pay off.
